Having played the WW1 event and being in possession of the WW1 vehicles I really don’t get why someone would want more WW1 content in WT.
But hey, DCT is about dreams and if that is your dream, who am I to judge?

This isn’t true, and not the reason it was denied either.
The O-I was built, but not completed as the project was cancelled during early testing of the initial prototype, which is still enough to be added as the minimum for consideration is to be an “unfinished prototype”. The official reason why Gaijin said they won’t add it, is that they currently don’t have enough information to model it accurately. This is something they have said even about some fully completed vehicles and doesn’t mean that anything is inherently wrong with the vehicle itself.
If either more information becomes available, or Gaijin gain access to more of the existing information, it might still be added.

Honestly i just think the vehicles are unique and im just sad i missed the event vehicle i think i might have played only a few games of it but i honestly can’t remember if i played it or was watching it on YouTube. It just saddens me that we have war vehicles from every time period but the one that really started it all(at least for tanks and planes with munitions)

It’s not really surprising, considering how popular modern vehicles are.
WW1 vehicles are extremely slow and their weapons are weak.
In a game like Battlefield One or one that has been designed for WW1 vehicles specifically these vehicles can be interesting, but in WT they can’t shine due to the fundamental game design…

Goryl would be pretty cool for Poland, a lot of the components were produced for it and tested (such as the armour) but never went past mock up :(

Parts being contructed at least qualifies it for a suggestion, it probably won’t be added for a long time though
yeah basically all the parts for it were scattered across the PT-91 variants which it was supposed to replace, such as the engine, gear box, LWS etc
Well, at least those parts didn’t go to waste then
It looks pretty cool to be honest, too bad these military companies didn’t take War Thunder into account lol

Yea I’m hoping with the addition of infantry (i know the lowest is Korea at the moment but i don’t see any reason why in the future they wouldn’t add earlier) that ww1 vehicles can make q comeback and a impact on gameplay. However i honestly don’t think the use or in this cases uselessness of a vehicle should mean it should not be added.
Yeah the idea was to Westernise basically, could have possibly used British components as well (such as the Rolls Royce Condor CV-12 1200 diesel engine)
If we go by that logic of parts existed just not all put together then stuff like the Strv 2000 and Strv 103D are eligible lol, I don’t think we should count that tbh
The suggestions rules say that components specifically made for the vehicle having been constructed is enough.
That obviously doesn’t mean that the vehicles in question will be added anytime soon (or at all), but they are fair game.

And how did the Strv 2000 situation look like? Were components developed for it then re-used in other vehicles?
Idk then it’s backwards since iirc the Strv 2000 was denied yet it had a few parts made specifically for it alongside general use parts
Strv 2000 had a handful of specific parts made for it with a large majority not existing and would require special groups to make them, other parts come from other domestic swedish vehicles as to reduce a need for additional non universal parts for service.
Strv 103D is in the same boat as your Polish MBT it had different parts made and used on two separate 103Cs that would show off what a proposed 103D could have/look like

There are plenty of suggestions that are in a similar boat that have been approved
