Nukes or how to make everyones grind longer by reducing earnt RP/SL for all the remaining players.
I’ve lost count how many swing battles have been ruined because someone needs a quick dopamine fix. Thankfully I’ve been in great battles where nukes are not used but these battles are becoming rare. From memory this “gameplay” addition is the single worst thing they have introduced. There could be others but this one gets my blood pressure up…
This post is born of frustration (something which this game is getting increasingly good at lately).
Someone with a skill issue who can’t get a nuke talking 🤣🫵. Nukes are a reward if u do well, git gud. Instead of getting rid of nukes, u should be punished for shooting one down
Certainly the one addition that makes least sense in a tactical scenario: “Hey, we’ve practically won, most of the forces remaining are Blue - let’s flatten the whole place and annihilate our own troops…”
(Note: I don’t care about a nuke cutting short a match, I just find it utterly unrealistic).
Yeah! Make it so the nuke actually causes damage and destruction when dropped, and not just a stock animation! Id rather have the MW19 PNG nuke over the WT one!
Not really, I can reach nuke requirement every time I go online, but over time I just grew to hate it, some hard-fought matches can be ended by one person which is often frustrating.
I have recently had a day where there were like 5 games in a row with nukes being dropped and not a single one was qnyone really mad about any of it. They were all towards the end of the match anyway and that is usually how these things go.
Even had a match where I shot down 2 enemy nukes to prevent us from losing due to them. But I would jot have been that mad if we lost via nuke either way. The 2 people that got them deserved it for the good match they had.
Reducing the kill radius for big bombs is one of the current things i can think of, the PE-8 is sad now for the effort lol. And even more for countries that doesent get 1000-2000kg bombs lol, Sweden and japan i can think of right away,
They should have increased the requirements for spawning them in instead for nerfing the he** out of them.
Sweden gets a 600kg as its max and Japan 800 kg as its max. And both do not get alot of them either lol, So that what i could give the most recent "The bar for the single worst warthunders introduction”
Well that can be blamed on the implementation. The fact that you spawn above the airfield with no altitude really does not give the nuke any other options.
