Where is it today ? No where !!

Agree, Gaijin makes so much money from War Thunder yet they couldn’t focus on hiring more hands to fix the bugs.
They make so much money already. How much do you think they sale BMPT ? More than 1000 the first 5 seconds. Dont worry about that
They probably spent all that money on Enlisted and Active Matter and so on, seeing how some QoL changes take so long in WT.
and hiring new devs to make infantry
Enlisted is developped by darkoflow who was owned by PMPC SIA who finance it
just don’t play it bro
Can anyone tell size difference between live build and dev build?
Infantry is already in dev build files
naval is broken and left to rot even if BVVD says they are actively developing it
for the record, the few things that make naval straight up unplayable:
AND THOSE ARE BUGS! SOME OF WHICH ARE PRESENT FOR MORE THAN A MONTH!
now couple that with UNBEARABLE amounts of BR compression, completely DONKED damage models (remember yamato dying in a single 5 inch shot, or amiens completely unaffected by getting its secondary ammo blown up)
AND THATS JUST NAVAL!
ground battles have random bs rng ammorack and fuel explosions, wack br compression, stale horrid gamemodes and maps…
so uhh yeah lets add infantry :^) the game can surely handle another neglected gamemode
get ready to buy the new 80$ golden AKM somali pirate edition))
you are saying this in a middle of a worldwide ram and storage shortage btw
its a separate gamemode, doubt that its going to be a mandatory download
this is why people are going to make fun of you and engage your character rather than the points you make
warthunder runs surprisingly well on shitty harddrives
the same shitty harddrives are having a price hike right now, like a 50% increase across the board
not that having a harddrive is any good - nobody should torture themselves with them even if WT runs ok on them
shows alpha footage of what is obviously a cancelled feature that is still in game today on certain maps
MUHH GAIJIN PROMISED FEATURE111!!!
Rank 1 infantry: grug with rock
we have already seen the focus shift onto CQC and fast paced combat with less and less tactical skill and more flick ur mouse and oneshot ur enemy skill which is something carried over from games like COD. now with enlisted, people with low attention spans and lacking mental activity when not holding a mouse will finally have what they wanted. giving gaijin… a COD marketplace opportunity.
its truly sad when a game or any company or group diverges from its original aims, goals, objectives and promises
They’re going to run into the same problems again.
Soviet/Russian weapons are always “special.”
You get a Stinger missile with a 5 km range that still can’t lock onto enemy helicopters.
And when you face the super tanky T-series vehicles… good luck
No, we dont. Especialy as its a separate game mode (at least for now).
I do. It really is terrible idea. Enlisted itself at later ranks is a shitty game, when everyoen has machineguns and threads entire battalions by clicks.
And the bot mechanics are just garbage, even on rank 1 it feels weird and bad, not mentioning how quickly they get removed at higher ranks :/
Even if gaijin made classic 32x32 or 64x64 with techs, it would be terrible as the shooting mechanics and movement they did in Active Matter are garbage. But enlisted style modern PVP shooter with techs? Feels sketchy at best. Especially when integrated to War Thunder.
Supposedly same as Enlisted - get stock squad, grind the amount of weapons and modifications of those weapons. Crazy.
we feel you brother.
Cant agree more. Snail’s staff are already incredibly inefficient, and introducing a completely new model will only make current mainstream players even more dissatisfied.
Well, the game was “originally” EXCLUSIVE to aircraft; a year later, it received tanks; 2 years later, it received boats, 1 year later it received ships, and 1 year later, helicopters.
Just like it was originally exclusive to 1930s-1950s, then 1960s-1980s, then 1990s, then 2000s, then 2010s, now 2020s.
The game has been expanding its frontiers from day 1.
