Ok, so do you support the Tiger E going up with its large filler APHE? It should be what 6.7, 7.0?

@Stona_WT that is my bug report. It was closed for not being a bug. When Gaijin chose to increase the velocity of the M82, they change the one variant those vehicles have access to. When Gaijin chose to implement the BR-471D for the IS-2 44 and other Russian tanks, they added it, not replace an existing round. The result was the 90mms have 1 APHE, while the Soviet tanks have 3 APHEs. Why not add some or all additional 90mm variants, so they also have multiple APHE rounds? I don’t think all 3 are necessary but they are available?

You say if the 90mm guns receive their large APHE rounds, they have to go up in BR to fight post war MBTs.
In response, I ask what BR the Tiger E should go to, since it has an APHE round with over 200 grams of TNT. Should it be 6.7 or 7.0?

And the lack of APHE causes even more issue with vehicles firing solid shot.
Not to mention it causes a lot of issues for vehicles with fast reloads that overpressrues, because they become unreasonable effective.
The issue is not that one vehicle should always oneshot the issue is that all vehicles should be able to do that.
It shouldn’t matter whether 152mm AP or APHE hits the lower plate and transmission of a Tiger, and it shouldn’t matter whether a Tiger gets hit in the side of the turret by 17pdr AP or 85mm APHE.
If APHE gets reworked it’s still desirable that all vehicles get more effective, regardless whether they use solid shot or APHE.

A Tiger is not a T26E5 and fighting post-war MBTs doesn’t mean they have the same BR as them.
In fact they already can fight them so your troll argument makes no sense.
I’m just saying that no US tank with overpressure APHE is going to stay at the same BR.
The M26 is also not a T26E5. The M36 is also not a T26E5.
And I’m just saying the M71 exists with 1200 grams of TNT, so adding the 199 gram M82 changes nothing. If the Tiger E is fine at 6.0 with overpressure, the T26E5 is fine at 6.7 with overpressure.

A vehicles performance increases, it goes up in BR. Simple.
Wrong.
If vehicle isn’t German it goes up in BR. If vehicle is Italian is goes up in BR twice.
Of course, if it was up to me, Gaijin would treat US tanks like they do Russian and German.
I drew up what I think the rounds should be a bit back, would like your thoughts on it.
Solid AP/APC/APBC/APCBC:
Generally slightly better pen then APHE, and more damage inside their spall cone.
APHE/APHEC/APHCBC/APHECBC:
Overall slightly less pen then solid AP, but having its current ‘sphere of death’, as many call it. Damage is slightly less then solid AP, but with, again, the sphere of death.
APDS:
What it currently is, but buffed damage inside its spall cone, but not to the level of solid AP. Reduced chances to shatter, though.
APCR:
Roughly the same post-pen as APDS, but worse angle pen and overall pen. Still high pen, basically the specialty round you have when you need to punch through a heavy’s armor.
HEAT/HEAT-FS:
High pen, and high damage on anything the jet actually touches (i.e. ammo, crew, etc.) Very good at starting fires and cooking off ammo.
HESH:
Extremely good against angles, and thick armor in general. Would have a chance to overpressure, around the same as HE, but within a smaller radius.
HE:
Basically same as current, haha 155mm big boom.
APFSDS:
No idea, because I admittedly dont have it yet, and so cant really speak about it.

No, german tanks are undertiered to give germany 70% winrates on every br range.

Also a blantant lie.
Germany does not have a 70% winrate at any BR except maybe top tier.
The players are notoriously bad below rank V.
