Multiple discussions can be held at the same time. Just because the Strv 74 is worse doesn’t mean we have to disregard every other vehicle (especially when the M4s are shared across multiple TTs).
They’re fine in downtiers, but not facing Tiger 2s, Panthers, and Jagdpanther/tigers.
Tbh, all three 76mm Shermans could be lowered 0.3 without issue,
We could also raise all the 6.3 and 6.7 by 0.3 so we don’t have M4A1 76mm in the same lobby as 3.7s

Oh really? What other trees have a M4A1 76 or M4A2 76? The only other tree with a M4A3 76 is Japan. The only other M4A2 76 in game is a ussr premium.

m26 is roughly equal to tiger and panther. It meh speed, meh armor, and a decent shell. Any of the pzIV’s, early panther models, m44/55…even 3.7 dicker max and 3.3 hummel can easily deal with m26 armor. M26 has roughly 125 armor on ufp about same as the panther…Tiger has vertical armor at about 100mm effective. The m82 has 185 pen from a 90mm but the 88 tiger is around 165 and the panther is 192…both more than enough to deal with m26. Forward speed and acceleration of m26 to panther and tiger is close. m26 has better reverse, but Tiger reverse is not bad.
They mostly face uptiers above 5.0. This isn’t about sweden. Go start a new thread.

That works too. Lowering some of the weaker 5.0-5.7s would reduce how much 6.0-6.7s have to be raised though. 7.0-7.7 in an odd state having to bridge the gap between WW2 and cold-war vehicles.

EVERYTHING FACES UPTIERS. that’s a COMPRESSION problem, not a Sherman problem. Compare a vehicle to the others at the same BR, not stuff stronger than it and henceforth at a higher BR.

Because EVERYBODY ELSE at your battle rating gets the SAME matchmaking as you. You want to whine about matchmaking? Go for it. Plenty to complain about. Fact is Tiger is an older model with vertical armor, but it can easily deal with the m26. Panther main weakness is the reverse speed. If you angle turret a bit btwn shots on panther it reduces turret cheek weakness. Go watch some vids on m26…they will tell you they are about equal to Tiger/Panther irl.
Irl means nothing in game. Irl means 75mm Sherman is uptiered to 6.7 with MM, not just 76mm Sherman
