Does 30 second invulnerability still exist?

I just got done with a Ground RB match. We lost all the cap points so the enemy team obviously started advancing into our spawn. I spawned in and without moving my vehicle and camera and without touching any keys on my keyboard, I got killed just five seconds after respawning. Does 30 second invulnerability still exist?

I HIGHLY doubt the 30 secs are still there, feels more like 10 max
