This is an opinion based poll, I just want to see what people think about the O-I
and what is the O-I?
The O-I is an 100ton super heavy tank being developed in Japan in early 1940 with the 120ton O-I being developed in 1944. None of these are said to be built with the only surviving artifacts are a singular track link and some blueprints.
I may be wrong with some of this information, but I hope this helped you.
Sorry I should of said O-I super heavy tank.
OI in reward of an event , why not ?
O-I, Type 120, or Mi-To would have been a japanese super heavy tank/landship. It can be on War Thunder in some way but, as much as I want, as much as others want would need to stretch the rules by a lot, the closest of the O-I being built was a single tracklink.

Why not?
However, if the O-I still feels too much out of place we can just amputate 20% of the engine’s power and call it a day.
Wasn’t this thing passed and forwarded already to the developers earlier this year?
It was passed to them, though it doesn’t seem like they ever added it. As of yet, I hope it comes; it will probably be around 6.3 in terms of BR, lower than the maus but still reasonable for her size.
Iirc it was actually built to some extent, I remember hearing something about trial data but I’m not sure, I haven’t looked into it in years.
But yes, That Track Link is the only physical remanent of the O-I.
It was at least partially completed, only missing (functional) turrets and the main roof plate iirc, but this partially complete vehicle is known to have been tested. It was eventually scrapped, the track link isn’t the only part made, but the only part surviving.
Would love to see it tho it would be lower BR iirc its armor and gun won’t be anything amazing but I could be wrong still would be derpy and fun tho
It was built and driven in the factory grounds, where half the suspension collapsed. However the turrets were not completed or mounted.
truly unforeseen consequences
