The new mechanism allows players’ onboard radar to better detect the opponent’s missiles, and I personally think this change is controversial. On the one hand, the increase in speed gates allows for previously undetected “false targets” to interfere with players’ judgments. On the other hand, this allows players to avoid certain deadly situations by launching missiles to destroy enemy missiles. But the next change will equally destroy the experience of every player: in TWS mode, the radar will not automatically return to center after guiding the missile laterally, which was done automatically in the past. Players are forced to constantly pay attention to the direction of the radar, and cannot focus on driving or searching for enemies. And the change also triggered a series of unexpected bugs, such as the J-11B radar having an incorrect vertical scanning angle after returning to its original position. I hope Gaijin can take this issue seriously and value the changes in player experience brought about by the new feature.
