Any competent F-16 pilot would never give you a shot oppotunity and defeat an R-73 with ease if they did and not a lot any Interdictor can do about an F-16 sat your tail unloading cannon rounds into you.

True but they arent that good with the su24m only because its difficult to off bore them
Why would you offbore an R60?
Just toss them at short ranges in headons or against unsuspecting targets.

True unless it gets 2 r60 on the outside of the pylon and a r73 on the bottom of the pylon and moved it to 11.7 so a f16 would be its main problem what with chance a r73 could dispatch
There is already su-25sm3 with r-73 at 12.3 and su-25t with r-73 in 11.7. And I read before someones other post and there it was said that then there should come su-24sm2 or something like that to get the r-73.

People are learning to not head on the su24 because the cannon so you really have to try off bore a side lock or as stated look for unsuspecting enemies what it can do but if they notice you normally lose your chance and either have to run or try get guns on what could put you in a bad situation

R73s wont make this aircraft any better, and the BR increase , even if only 0.4, it still not worth it .
As it stands right now you get about half 10.3 and half 11.3 matches in the SU-24, which is a very good spot.
Just abuse your speed and electronics to evade / beat your enemies. R73s wont compensate for a general lack of gameplay adaptation .

11.7 is the max I would want any interdictor short of something like the Tornado Gr4 with 2x ASRAAM.
I want the Tornado gr1 to get Aim-9Li or Aim-9M (along with the Tornado ASSTA1 and A200A) at 11.7 to give them a much needed boost. (they are only at that BR because they have GBUs) So Su-24M could also get 2x R-73s for fairness but would need to move to 11.7…
But only if it actually had them and Id still take 11.3 over 11.7 with IRCCM if I had the choice.

At the current state of the gane at this moment most fighters around its br can catch up to the su24m so speed is something that yes helps and has saved me from the likes of f5 but a lot of fighters at that br will catch up to you

I get your point here but at its current state i would take the r73 but if gaijin fix some brs of vehicles i would be happy with the 4 r60

So play on their lack of awareness and pull a reversal or two.
R73s are not the answer to your problems, as people will still catch you (but hey, you have 2 advanced IR missiles , i am sure that will help when you are on fire and spinning towards the ground).
Just figure out how to play to its strenghts. While its true that its strenghts are … Limited , its not an impossible aircraft.
I would much rather have the movable gunpod again.

True but i hope its a positive chance as at this current compression a lot of fighters and strike aircraft are mediocre at best in this current stage
The moveable gun pod would help but trying a revesal is hard as since its a big target skilled players will get guns on easily just the main reason is that at the current compression of brs its in a bad state as its not that bad but struggles to hold its own as you can get good matches but most of the time you really can do anything
The SU24M upgrade to M2 doesn’t even give you anything the M2 offers, like the R73Es, or the upgraded gunnery optics, which the regular one doesn’t have, it had different ones.
These vehicles shouldn’t be in one, the M2 should be in a folder, or the upgrade should be removed, and the SU24M should become the SU24M2 regardless, and be given it’s R-73Es.
This mitigates the BR problem of the upgrades making it much better than its initial BR deserves, allowing both to be placed in their own spot.
Personally I think 11.7 with R73Es would be acceptable, as this jet is not even in the top five fastest jets at it’s own BR, meaning it can’t base bomb, or even run away, and certainly it can’t dogfight.
The M2 modification should restore articulating gunpods as well.

Update could be quite good. Im expecting the late Tornado IDS sooner rather than later and assuming the 11.7s dont get IRCCM missiles. It would be good to add them as an equal to the Su-24M2 with IRCCM missiles.
