Playing WT lately has been a slog.
Fire Arc then Seversk-13(Winter) then Volokolamsk then we repeat
getting roflstomped by a shirtless 35 year old who hasn’t left his moms basement, sweaty and probably hasn’t heard of deodorant before(on each match)
but I love the game, and it is still worth it. Gaijin pls don’t ban me for complaining for getting railgunned across the map by a lvl 100 with the AMX-50 Surblindé and Object 279 in a 3.7-4.0 BR game playing that Lorraine 155 thing
Yes I do enjoy playing. I play cause their is no other game like WT and I don’t need to pay 70-80 bucks for a aircraft unless it’s a one of a kind

Most likely yes.
Out of the millions of players, a minority have shown serious level of dissatisfaction, typically with the genre itself.
I haven’t seen cheaters en masse, myself.
I was told these large maps were great for NATO tanks. ;)
99% of the maps war thunder has are horrible in my opinion

only major dissatisfaction is how gaijin models shell shatter and APCR/HVAP, and some of the absolute poor maps you can get in ground, though some are great, and most are deeply personal opinion
(I Personally hate Novorosiyyk (all variants) and like Sweden, while i know many that hold the exact opposite opinion, especially with my favourite map being Big Maginot)
Not the mention even the concept of a stock grind
Like all games there can be changes to make it more enjoyable, but it is enjoyable otherwise people just won’t play the game
i don’t think i’ve ever seen a single one, or if i have i wasn’t affected in any significant way

Oh ok give my Sherman lll/lV a laser rangefinder, two plane stabilization, 500x300p thermals, APFSDS with 1650+m/s velocity, composite armor, a 2000hp engine, and boot it to 12.7. How bad could M61 shot be at 12.7? It’s APHE it must be fine
then it’s a NATO MBT and I’m more than happy to play volokolamsk. There’s worse maps I guess. cough cough port novyrsk or however the fuck you spell it cough cough

most maps like that winter one are complete buns we need more like Advanced to the rhine my all time favorite
Port Norrovoyisk or whatever it’s called makes me wanna j out upon spawn, normally I’ll just rush the enemy with a death with. Air is ok tho, mid tier can be pretty fun, I don’t play ground that much anymore cuz it’s too much of a slog
I definitely don’t. I came to realise that Gaijin are just never going to improve their CORE gameplay mechanics following BVVDs Q&A video since their only focus is making as much money as fast as possible. Matches that last 5 minutes maximum at top tier air, GRB matches where spawn camping starts occurring within the first five minutes, focus on pumping out horrible CQB Maps that top tier MBTs were never designed to fight in etc.

Majority is foolish, they don’t realize they waste tons of cash into suffering. So no, they don’t enjoy, they only have a false feeling of it

If Gaijin wanted air matches to be shorter, they would’ve made team sizes smaller, maps made smaller, etc.
Instead maps are the largest they’ve ever been in the history of the game.
Modern MBTs do not see over 90% of the maps made prior to 2018.
The current higher BR map is 7x the size of the average 2020 map.
The vehicles yes, the maps and gamemodes no.
It’s gotten very dull doing the same thing over and over again

The problem i found in Map design is its too easy to Spawn camp in maps like how should i stop some M18 or light tank to spawn camp first minute of the game ?

well for me personally? No, all i want is to play veichles from my country (Brazil) and all we got was a Paid plane that worth like half of our entire minimum wage, gaijin ignores completly the history of this country, the second strongest Army in americas behind the US only, the strongest in Latin america, 5th largest Country, we have Embraer, one of the biggest Aircraft manufacturers in the world, Engessa that was a Armored veichles manufacturer (sadly it went bankrupt) we got Historical beasts of veichles hidden here that were actually build and some operating, some of them just built prototypes, we have some examples of one particular beast that went only to pré-productuon version built that never entered production cuz the company behind the project went backrupt, its the EET1 Osorio, P.1 (105mm gun) and P.2 (120mm gun), it went to saudi arabia to get the contract, win against the British Challenger, the French AMX-40, and towed the AMX back to base when it breaks during the tests, it went into finalists against the Abrams, it was the favorite and everything was in its side, but america used Political power and make saudi army buy the Abrams, the osorios was sent to the Armored park in brazil, the P.1 105mm is exposed in the Rio de Janeiro army museum and the P.2 120mm is operational used in parades and events in a Base in Rio Grande do Sul in the far south, it used a German Engine V12 Diessel and Transmission, a Vickers Turret, the 105mm L7 gun, or french GIAT 120mm Gun, we also had planes, brazil’s embraer produces a very modern and capable Turboprop called A-29 Super Tucano capable of Using Air to Air missiles lile AIM-9 Sidewinder and its National Variant the MAA-1 Piranhas (present in game by the premium AMX-1A), it can use dumb bombs, guided stuff, GBUs, anti drone warfare is also present by embraer, also embraer is making the first national built Gripen E variant that came with Technology transference in SAAB contract, also we have the Most capable F-5 in the world the F-5M with modernized stuff, i dont know if gaijin will ever add this country in some tech tree, it looks copy paste but isnt, most of brazilian stuff are locally modified and some also locally produced for own doctrine like the F-39E Gripen NG, aint enjoyable playing the same planes again and again, (tech tress i play) we just got a worse su-30SM in russia (SM2, for me the radar is worse), another eurofighter in italy at least with a good radar but still just an EF, and the only different thing was the super hornet but isnt something to focus on
I do. I don’t enjoy many decisions Gaijin makes, but i still enjoy the core aspects of the game. I’ve sadly got to avoid certain BRs to have more fun though.
