Israeli tree is very easy to grind out with just premium time, don’t buy the kfir because you will deprive yourself of a fun experience in some israeli planes.
How to reach rank 8 asap in Israel:
1-Play sakeen in arcade
2-Get Spitfire Mk IXc
3-Get Spitfire Mk.IX CW (research the rest with it) *good plane
4-Get Meteor NF13 (research the rest with it) *good plane
5-Get A-4H, bomb a base and fight or farm ground *good plane
6-Get Ayit, sealclub on the regular because its undertiered. (consider buying talisman because you will research everything with it till you have access to rank8) *OP plane
7-Choose between the Kfir C.7 or the Kurnass to research the first Rank8. All Israeli rank7 suck but the kfir C.7 might be the easier to play for unexperienced players.

If you want to buy a premium jet for france I would go for the F1C, its great at 12.0 and very noob friendly.
Else, I would also recommend China because it gets a decent variety and will have more good additions in the future too.

I grinded t5/6 with Ouragan. Your picks for Israel t5 is Meteor F.8 and NF and Ouragan. I don’t know which one is better. I went well with Ouragan, while i can’t go that well in Meteor… any Meteor.

Meteors arent very fast but they are great in df and have a good guns and ammo
Grinding France is way more worth it, Israel is very… boring to say the least. Both have good top tiers, but France defo has a better future.

France just gets more advanced rafale and maybe something in benalux tree
The F15ia will not be delivered to the idf untill 2031, that’s not a realistic addition to the game anytime soon. F35’s will come to France through BeNeLux. And the Rafale with Meteors is going to be extremley strong.
There’s nothing Israel can get that France can’t match or outperform.
F-35I is the best one in the world, and will also be the best stealth jet in game if added with it’s correct avionics and EW tech

The netz isn’t very good at 12.7 because it only has IR missiles that are easily flared out but its easy to play.
The F-16D might be lowered in BR soon because of nonsense. So if it gets to 13.3 grab that one.
If the F-16D doesn’t get lowered, you might consider getting the netz and then the F-16C block40 since it has more loadout options than the F-16D and a tiny tiny turning advantage but with worse acceleration. Its a side grade but you get to experience both aim120 and derby, so not only you can do the longer range bvr playstyle but you can also go ham in furballs with derbys.
All the F-15’s are good options, but I wouldn’t advice you to grind the kurnass 2000 first because that thing is utter garbage at 12.3

It depends on whether you have the US Air Force. If you do, don’t buy KFIR. Israel’s top jets are just degraded versions of the US ones (and they will always be, even if there are some places where Israel might be better in reality? I don’t know, but American players are the main force that gives money to Gaijin, so you know). If you want a more comprehensive experience, F4S is a better choice. France is extremely strong at the moment, but there may be no new aircraft to be released. Israel may release several degraded versions of US aircraft in the future, but if you really like F18, forget it.
The advantage of Israel is that you can quickly reach the top and then do something more meaningful than playing War Thunder, such as reading books and exercising.
Which israeli jet is worse than the US version?
The Netz is better than the IR only F-16A, Python3 has better kinematics than Aim9L
The F-16C Barack II is a sidegrade, less engine power but it is lighter than the US block50 by almost a ton, has more countermeasures and is able to carry both derby and aim120
F-16D is just a F-16C barack II that only uses derby and has some 150kg of added weight
F-15A is copy paste
F-15C is copy paste
Israeli F-15E gets more flares than the US version but it is 140kg heavier, arguably an upgrade.
The 11.3 Kurnass is the same as the F4E
The Israeli A-4H and Ayit are much better than any American A-4…
So, every one of them is a sidegrade or an upgrade, you can argue that the F-16D is worse but for me its still a sidegrade, and you don’t have to use it since you have the F-16C block40 at the same BR with more loadout options and a bit lighter than the D
