DM63 performance - XM800T vs Luchs, Wiesel & Marder

So this is more of a subjective perspective and a genuine question.

The DM63 on the XM800T shreds pretty much everything and performs as I would expect from a fast firing, armour piercing 20mm round. That’s why it is going up in BR to 8.3, because the XM800T creates havoc wherever it goes and if it would shoot blanks, then you wouldn’t have all the complaints about it ruining games :)

The DM63 on the German Light Vehicles however, feels very different. It’s good enough to break barrels and tracks, but a relatively far cry from what the XM800T does.
Again, this is a subjective perspective, but my German Light Vehicles with the DM63 do not even come close to the punch the XM800T delivers.

Now, I know that the XM800T uses a variation of the HS820 gun and the Germans use the Rheinmetall Mk20 Rh-202, but the ammo is identical and so is the muzzle velocity, so theoretically it should perform identical.

So, why does the DM63 on the German vehicles either feel or actually perform, so different?

The XM800T works because it’s super mobile. It’s much faster than a Marder and the Luchs has incredible gimped mobility and is also the size of a bus.

The XM800T is always in the position to ambush vehicles and disable them while the German vehicles are rarely in the same position.

The Wiesel only has a limited arc of fire, so it can’t do drive bys like the XM800T.

If you can sneak up on someone and shoot them from 50-100m you can easily shred their barrels but when you try to do the same from 300m, you’re not going to be very successful.

How does the Ratel’s and Rooivalk’s F2 20mm HVAP compare to DM63 20mm?

Also the XM800T has a full APDS belt and nearly double the fire rate
