These are all errors that seriously affect the gaming experience, and gaijin should take responsibility and promptly correct them.
Yeah, like the ZTL-11 reverse speed.

This is an issue that is THREE YEARS OLD!!!
And THIS IS ALL THEY HAD TO SAY ABOUT IT!
“It has been reported”
“We know there’s an issue”
“Added “duplicate” and closed comments”
TWO YEARS AGO!!
Here is a more recent one, Community Bug Reporting System . Seems like they have documents/data showing that it is what it is in game. If you have documents to prove it should be changed, you are more than welcome to do so but, remember, videos alone are not allowed as evidence.
No? They do not? They simply refuse to accept common sense and videos and demand documentation for vehicles from the 2010s that obviously don’t have documents available.
Nowhere in that post is it even implied that they supposedly have data that the reverse speed is actually 8.5km/h. You even implying that already gives me an idea of who I’m talking to.
Prove they don’t.
“Reports on historical inconsistencies require additional sources confirming the information you have expressed” clearly implies there is a source stating something, cotradictory to what you believe, which is reason that they believe it is what it is curently.
It was proven long ago… The devs don’t actually care about correctness, look at how few bug reports get acted on each major update for any nation. All they care about is if their favorite nation(s) at the time have favorable performance while every other nation gets tossed aside like Woody from Toy Story.
This is kind analogous for this whole post and all the posts about top teir armour and stats. It’s basically all classified, and realistically gaijin makes decisions based on balance and what they can best discern with the info that isnt classified. The fact that stuff is what it is in game, basically means that as far as gaijin can statistically see, the vehicles are doing fine at their respective BR’s. So if you are reasonable, your options are to find unclassified documents if they exist, or just accept that the game might not be true to reality and that a vehicle’s performance in game isnt a true reflection of its performace in real life, which has always been the case anyway.
Unfortuantely this still doesnt prove anything, it is based on conjecture about gearboxes and Videos. It very well may be the case, but if gaijin were to accept this report, then they would be breaking their own rules for such reports, and if they see no reason to, I.E the vehicle is performing just fine at its current BR, then why would they do that?
The report was accepted and forwarded to the dev team. The ‘rules’ are general guidelines and more modern vehicles can skirt around it depending on the evidence presented. For instance, missing spall liner bug reports will be accepted with photographic evidence showing it. That is not part of the ‘rules’ yet they are accepted and even has been implemented by Gaijin already. Furthermore, it is not conjecture, you can literally see on the shifter it has 2 reverse settings lol. The OP of that report went above and beyond by not only showing it has 2 reverse settings (in game it has 1 reverse gear), but also by hunting down the corresponding gearbox and proving with it’s datasheet it has 2 reverse gears. Conjecture is something that can be argued against, if a shifter has R1 and R2 on it, you can not argue it only has R1 unless you have dementia.
The reason this has not been fixed, just like the MANY MANY other issues various minor nations have is because the devs DO. NOT. CARE. My bug report for the Q-5L missing it’s flares STILL hasn’t even been implemented, it would take ~2 hours top to do a temporary fix until the model is redone with flare pods. And I say this as a dev who works in Unreal Engine.
Vehicle performance does not matter unless it would make the vehicle OP, and in which that case, it can be argued to just bump up the BR.
True.
This is what i was referring to when i said:
For all you know they could have been left on there and the shifter used with a different gearbox. There are many things that could be the case, one of them being that you are correct and IRL it does have the faster reverse speed, but that was never my point.
Care about what, the game in general, or making every vehicle 100% historically accurate down to the micrometer? Because if they didn’t care about the game, then they would make no changes based off any bug reports, and they would monetise the game like WOT does. They clearly do care, but there should be no expectation for them to just know everything and trust everything the community presents them with in regards to vehicle performance. If they want to ignore a bug report that has no real evidence, because they feel that making the change might cause the vehicle to go up in BR, and they like the vehicle where it is, then they have all right to do that. It would be nice if they give a bit more reasoning, but there are always people, like most on the forum, who would complain anyway, unreasonably. Also, just because a change hasnt been implemented yet, doesnt mean it never will, or that it isnt being worked on. It might just no be the priority, however menial it is.
They violated the content of the information submission far more than my fingers.
Exactly. Someone should remake that post on the new forum as well.
Though I really want ZLT-11 to be better, but seems that these issues are rejected because it’s video source. It’s better to get some direct source., like transmission, or similar export vehicle brochure.
i want to see in the war thunder has a very near real ZTZ99A,not like now
can’t agree more, war thunder is meant to be a realistic military game, errors that can be proved with obvious evidence should be fixed, military games need accuracy
I hope very much that he’s right.
agree!!!
agree!!!
Fix it !or I won’t charge money into the game again
agree!
