Discussion on the Current State of Israel in the Game

the spyder-aio can get derby-sr as well, i did a post on that in the past

Indeed, but Derby is genuinely OP for anti-air right now.
CAS can’t engage beyond 20km yet, and consistent SPAA powercreep steps is a good idea.

kh-38…, it also isn’t beamriding and requires a radar lock to fire, meanign if the spyder loses the lock, the missile cant do much to fire and im not to sure , but if the Spyder loses lock i think the missiles can track?

KH-38’s limited by its IR seeker which is <20km identical to AGM-65D/G at this time.
And yes, Pythons are IR guided, Spyder only needs lock for initial launch.

As a main ground player,What I want to say is that in this game, the developers don’t care about whether the vehicles are historically or data-wise accurate. They only care about making more money and injecting what they call “personal stuff” into the game. Many nations in this game are being treated unfairly, while certain countries continue to receive vehicles that are not only excellent but also far surpass the same-tier vehicles of other nations. This only reinforces my point.
As the gap between aerial and ground vehicles continues to widen, players in ground mode are more likely to encounter situations where they are helpless against stronger vehicles, leading to a poor gaming experience.
Yet, the developers continue to indulge and even promote this situation, which I just can’t understand.

honestly 2 option are available ,

1st one: you can use derby-sr but only a limited amount of them, as spyder-aio and sr can carry both python and derby-sr

2nd: or you can add the pythons first and then the derbies later on , but wihtout derbies, the spyder would struggle to shoot down missiles fired at it with only its pythons, so i’d go personally with the first option

True,When I see the Merkava 4 and T-80BVM at the same BR, I can’t understand if they are capable of fighting in the same BR

they would be if the merkava’s armor was realistic.

You can have two separate Spyders.
One for 12.3, and the Derby one for 13.7 later on as better CAS and BR decompression occurs.

but gajin doesn’t seem to accept that the merkava is first an 80 ton veichle and not 65 tons, has modern era into its armor, and has been able to take multiple kornet missiles and still survive.

Can we like aircraft, determine the final cost based on the type of ammunition used?

thats were i dont agree, they can add the hsvd adams at 12.3 and later the spyder-aio with a limited amount of derbies or add derbies later. Bceause gajin said grom-2s will be coming , just not now, so i think for now like a limit of 4 derbies or 3 would be good or just add them later

tbh, I don’t think the developers will restore the Merkava’s armor in a “historically accurate” way. Instead, they will likely use another approach to make it capable of competing against the T-80s, as this has already been proven countless times.

Balance > bias.
Since your post is taking the side of bias, you’re going to disagree with most people.

Grom-2s are trash weapons, literally the worst weapon on Su-34 before they were removed.
Derbies would make SPAA OP which isn’t fun for the same reason CAS being OP isn’t fun.

Also artificial limits aren’t added on vehicles [outside A-10A].

u do have really good point tho,But I have to say, the reason the Grom_2 was removed is not because it was the “worst weapon,” but because it was one of the most efficient. You could almost immediately use it to devastate the battlefield as soon as the match began, and then repeatedly perform that action to earn a huge amount of RP in a very short time. If you’ve played on the DEV server, you’d know that the Grom-2 was an extremely efficiency weapon ever

Can’t the current Grom-1 do the same thing? Maybe it’s because I don’t know enough about it.

No, the reason Grom 2 was removed was because of irrational backlash.
The most efficient weapons on Su-34 are Napalm [4 bases of damage, and center-line bombs with napalm is 5.5 bases of damage]l, GPS guided bombs, grom 1 + UPAB-1500B [2.9 bases of damage], Grom 1 [2 bases of damage].
Grom 2 is 1 base of damage, it was objectively the worst loadout. It was never the most efficient.

It’s hilarious for a system that can’t even handle a helicopter attack against an Israeli 12.0 SPAA.

There are a few of them, zealots of sorts, who join random threads only to spew their horrible uninformed takes and try and paint themselves as superior (surprise to no one, they are tought to act that way from birth). I wouldn’t mind it if they at least knew what they were talking about, but I had one come into the british typhoon thread to tell us that the EFT should fight the F-22 if it gets ASRAAM or IRIS-T, utterly fanatical

i was talking about the cruise missile variant, is it the grom-2? Anyways what im trying to say is that there range increase can allow the potential that even the addition of derbies wiukd struggle
