Had it been built I would’ve proposed the ISU-152 recovery variant with the Lahti L-39 20mm rifle. The playstyle and BR would be silly but I’d gladly take the challenge.
I wouldn’t really expect much armor from any of the Nordic nations though, I’d argue that a mobility focus is one of their greatest advantages.
Was the ISU-152 with the 20mm never built? I remember reading that it was given a 20mm gun for AA-defence but it was unknown if it had a gunshield or something. It’s hard to remember exactly when and what I read, but I came away thinking they mounted the 20mm gun, and also the main gun was replaced with a DT machine gun.
Well the tank was successfully converted to the recovery variant so I suppose it was somewhat built, but I recall they never mounted the 20mm nor the mount for it, only the DT and the engine mufflers.
I mean it didnt stop gaijin from adding planned things before but since its finnish it will either be a prem vehicle with the modification or never added.
So when do I start huffing copium? actually I probably should have started huffing copium the day I became a Swedish main.
Anyways yes Kranvagn and UDES XX-20 please
They gave the KV-1A a roof MG because it “could have” had one so why not throw on a 20 mm Lahti that “could have” been there at this point. But yeah, most likely not. Still want to see a Finnish ISU-152, would have been a much better premium than the KV-1A though
@AspandaIV any idea if the BMP-2MD is supposed to carry more than 1 belt of apds? Idk the vehicle seems pretty bad for 8.7 with a single belt of viable ammo and no missile.
The BMP-2MD has worse armor all around even with the add on “armor” then you have 1 belt of apds. Again i would rather take the missile launcher and same amount of apds while being more armored, lighter weight and thermals aren’t that useful if you cant hurt vehicles unless you’re on the side, again the BMP-2MD imo was a worthless addition if it is going to stay exactly as it is now.
Again, why does gaijin find C&P so hard, i mean they still haven’t even acknowledged the KV-1A having worse armor than the light KV-1C turret despite the C overperforming armor wise. Or the Finnish Sotka’s weighing .2t more than all other T34’s despite not having the add on armor or the fuel barrels or front hull track armor. Or front track guards.
