@AspandaIV any idea if the BMP-2MD is supposed to carry more than 1 belt of apds? Idk the vehicle seems pretty bad for 8.7 with a single belt of viable ammo and no missile.
Wait, why are they even the same BR?
Finnish one is slightly heavier and doesn’t have a launcher
Also i like how the stats mention says 20/20/20 on the turret armor but the side is 6mm and the rear is 10mm + 4mm boxes
A light breeze will penetrate that turret
Edit:
Think i figured it out, 2MD got thermals
The BMP-2MD has worse armor all around even with the add on “armor” then you have 1 belt of apds. Again i would rather take the missile launcher and same amount of apds while being more armored, lighter weight and thermals aren’t that useful if you cant hurt vehicles unless you’re on the side, again the BMP-2MD imo was a worthless addition if it is going to stay exactly as it is now.

Both BMP^ bug reports
Again, why does gaijin find C&P so hard, i mean they still haven’t even acknowledged the KV-1A having worse armor than the light KV-1C turret despite the C overperforming armor wise. Or the Finnish Sotka’s weighing .2t more than all other T34’s despite not having the add on armor or the fuel barrels or front hull track armor. Or front track guards.

Finnish Sotka^ bug report about the weight.
IR missile? What’s the specs?
How?
How did they downgrade the armor?
Gaijin majick, just like the KV-1A having less armor than the light turret found on the KV-1C lol. Idk how the heavy KV-1 turret has worse armor but standard gaijin documents i guess.
Again its simple, remove the BMP-2MD and just add the original BMP-2 that finland had with missiles then they dont have to fix the armor and can C&P it. Though it would probably weigh 8t more and have 50 apds and 1 belt of HE rounds as its only ammo.
With IRCCM and said to have a similar warhead to the french 530 missiles by mid 1970s
That’s dope asf
No idea how it does IRCCM and its actual ability to turn and track but its cool to think about
Saw this dope thing, called the Bofors BUSTER, essentially Sweden tried a similar design to the LOSAT, but didn’t get past the drawing board;
