That’s why I mentioned the M2K, having large chaff makes it way easier to evade, and requires less spamming
Should be IR+IOG, i don’t think the basic SPICE 250 has GNSS, that could come with the ER

Would love to see it as ir guided
It would make f16i pretty nice for cas
TV/IR guidance overrides IOG or GNSS, as you still need direct line of sight for lock. Otherwise mr statcard claims they are IR+IOG+GNSS, last one means it should have 0 drift when switching to inertial in event of losing track of target?
I didnt understand ur point
Ofc u need los when u locking and ig if its loses the lock it goes iog
Which defeats point of adding “GNSS”, as POINT lock on the ground already gives pinpoint precision. IOG should help when seeker actually tracks valid target and then loses sight of it.
Laser+IOG/GNSS can be fired blind, without need for line of sight, either as “fire and forget” or for last second lazing for precision.
(Buff) Report for 600gal Underwing drop tanks (same as on F-15I, larger then ones present):

(Fix) Report for the newly added countermeasures still not functioning ingame despite text changes and old report stated fixed:

Will it get derby or at least aim120a/b? I’d hate to get stuck with aim120c-5’s.
Also it’s funny to see that the conformal fuel tanks produce TWENTY EIGHT times the drag of 3 external drop tanks
IT HAS HOW MUCH DRAG
TWENTY EEEIGHT ! 28x drags
I’m working on a report for Aim-120Bs right now, but I need one singular acceptable secondary source that specifically names the Aim-120B as the variant the IAF acquired in the late 90s. We know they did, Aim-120A was only exported to Germany and Aim-120Cs were exported at the time, but I’ll still need that name drop for any hope of my report getting through. Might just go for photo only report and use reason and logic
Derby is out of the question?
It seem the drop tanks values are the problem, not the conformals being too high. They’re excessively low on the 370/300 gallon tanks for some reason. The CFTs in the Sufa have less drag then those in the Ra’am, so it’s nothing to worry about.
Yes
Drop tanks always had almost 0 drag, in the F-15 the CFT dont add any drag (only weight), but on the F-16 they do. Not that it matters because no one uses CFT unless they are roleplaying
Loadout drag values are one of the most retarded things in this game. 6 mavericks have less drag than a single sidewinder.
100% not, because it doesnt even use it.
if you can find sources for it, it should be fine. BLU-27 can be dropped at M1.1, and IRL at least GBU-39 have been dropped sucessfully at supersonic speeds, so SPICE 250 can probably be dropped supersonic.
however since it isnt released from a BRU-61 there could be issues with the rack not being suitable for supersonic releases
Well, that because only Israel and Saudia Arabia are operating the F100-PW-229 IPE with 29,160 lbf (129.7 kN) on F-16 and F-15.
But, the GE Engine has more power. So F-15E with GE should have more F110-GE-129 with 29,500 lbf (131.2 kN)
Unless an airforce replaced the engines from stock to the newer options, the F-15Es have 23,770 lbf (105.7 kN)
he pretty clearly said PW-220 for both the F-15 and F-16, nothing about PW-229 IPE or GE-129.
The point is F-16’s air intake designed to take up to mach 2.2 air down to sub-mach has less channel loss than the F-15’s variable air intake designed to take up to mach 2.6+ air down to sub-mach.
So any engine put in both will produce more thrust out of the F-16 than the F-15, which is shown in-game form the PW-220 equipped versions.
