(discussion) BVVDs response to .7 max uptier saying slow decompression is better isnt a very good solution

The most compressed br afaik is still 8.7 to 10.3

Would it work if we change the BR gaps from 0.33 to 0.2 or even 0.1, creating space for more accurate adjustment without increasing the max BR?

I’ve raised this idea for a few times before but never got any comment.

In 2023, in a 6.3 - 7.3 match, you could run into fucking Leopard Is. The IS-6 was also 7.3 and incredibly oppressive. Meanwhile a 5.3 in a full uptier got the privilege of fighting a Tiger II (pre series). The whole area between 5.3 and 7.7 was an absolute clusterfuck of compression.

Almost every T-34 and KV-1 has gone up in BR, even the B and E, which were terrorising 3.0 - 4.0 for the longest time. Now 4.3s don’t even see Jumbos in full uptier (although Jumbos can see Tiger IIs so there is more decompression to do).

Just because you forget, doesn’t mean that nothing’s been done. Decompression gradually happens all the time in this game.

moving up 2 tanks does not count as decompression XD at most it was a small decompresion we havent seen whole br bracket get raised up like they did with 9.3 and 10.0

You are not being intellectually honest. You know damn well it’s not “two tanks” that moved up. That whole bracket was massively decompressed. “Germany 7.3” was an insanely strong lineup, now there is no German lineup at that BR. Go find the summer 2023 BR changes table if you want the full list, and there have been more rounds since then.

You are trying to rationalise away basic facts because they do not fit with the narrative you’ve built in your head.
