the 1.0 up tier with no decompression is killing this game. As he says we lower downtier due to variety and getting to few vehicles for certain br ranges but the problem is deep rooted.
1.0 uptiers actually allow the craziest fights to take place for example Yak 3 4.3 vs 3.3 F4U is just completely unfair or another example F4EJ-KAI 12.3 vs SU30MK3 with R77s R73s 13.3 or F100A 9.3 vs J35XS 10.3
i could go you get the point now his solution is slowly raising the max br cap with decompression which works but never happens please do tell me the last time props where decompressed
we need a mass decompression where every vehicle gets decompressed at every rank not just one rank in particular BVVDs decompression method is just too slow for all the new vehicles coming in every update they add a new toptier recompressing the BRs
which is why i made this post to see what the commuitity thinks as it seems to be the only way to get anything done

in the long term reducing the max uptier to 0.7 does more harm than good as it allows vehicles to be less different in spec while still not being different enough to not fight each other
decompression may be slow but it is still the far better option for the long term of the game
Like that doesnt happens already with all the copy paste of vehicles, especially at high ranks, the same aircraft in 3/4/5 nations where only the camouflage changes
i mean actual differences that are important but not big enough to have two vehicles not fight each other, the difference between two vehicles being 0.7 apart in BR and 1.0 apart
Call me delusional, but if I’m playing an airplane, I’d rather face airplanes in an uptier that are “0.7 BR better” than mine instead of things like say, Yak-3U vs VB.10-02
0.7 is a band aid solution, and proper decompression is always better. 0.7 won’t fix the Su-7 being OP at 9.0, but weak at 9.3, and it won’t fix 13.0s compression either.
Maybe this is more of an air battle issue, because 1.0 uptiers are absolutely fine in ground. Especially when you have a lineup that you can fill with vehicles that are more viable in uptiers. Actually, nah, I happily play 13.0 air, 9.7 air, etc, and have never thought about ‘what if it was only .7 max’. But then again, it can get pretty dicey for air around 8.0-8.3 since the MiG-15 and others were sent down.
In the end, Decompression is the only way. It is a slow process, but I wouldn’t want them to rush it - especially if they’re choosing what to decompress based on player statistics over a certain time-scale.
calling slow is a actual crime to be fair when i say slow its so slow by the time they add new toptiers that compress the range more its a loosing game decommpression is to slow molasses moves faster and its not like they are rushing it if they do it faster
name the last time they decompressed props they only decompress one rank spoiler its always top tier they dont care about decompression at all its counter productive for them compression sells better for premiums cause there usually under tiered
I just did an entire air event playing the subsonic Hunter F.6 @ 9.7 without flares, it was fine (edit: Running into teams of J-7D were the only concern - but I don’t expect the J-7D to be staying at 10.7 for long).
