[Discussion] Balance, Bias, Matchmaking and Battle Ratings

I wish Gaijin thought the same, but they are going away from the era since it isnt as profitable for them.
They prefer to ruin the top tier experience for the people that grinded towards it, in favour for the people who buy their way in.
Which results in 1 death leaving.

Have to agree. There ain’t many OP vehicles just some really good ones but no tank really feels like it clearly should be at higher BR ruins the whole BR range.

You can so easily have fun and matches that can easily be really balanced. After 6.7 battles almost always end up being landslide to one team. I ain’t saying it doesn’t happen at 3.0-5.0 but that is almost always because of map.

Relativly balanced. There are still things like the Chi-Nu which is no way as good as any main 3.3 mediums or the Swedish 3.7 wonder.

Totally agree with the sentiment. I disagree with the BR you’ve stated though. I think you need to get into Heavy and Super heavy to get the full experience. …So depending on the nation I’ve always been around 5.3-7.0… You can make an argument for Russia 7.7 in a down tier. This range also opens up some of the best CAS units. Games in this range are almost always far more competitive with players fielding 3-5 units for each battle. Right around 7.7+ the game shifts gears and becomes something more reminiscent of a first person CQC shooter. **imo.
I think the primary issue here is the monetization model that Gaijin chose…forever on the treadmill of new units to sell. Combine this with real world technology directly setup to counter tanks and you wind up with a situation that cannot be balanced. At this point I think adding more things that shoot in any BR is just going to create more problems than it will solve. I do see room for things like maintenance crews, fuel/resupply, and a more robust game mode that brings airfields into the field of play. To that end, make the announcement for WarThunder2. We could use a graphics engine update, and Gaijin could use a better monetization model that gets them off the balance beam.
That said, the game truly shines from 3.0-7.0 !

All morning its been taking min 5 mins to find a battle in rb italy 10.7 and france 11.0 it says theres 200k players online are the servers broke or is everyone in russian tanks when i do get in a battle its 10v10!!!

The answer to this question is surprisingly easy to find.

Well I’ve just been spending the last two weeks grinding the event vehicle.
Only to not be able to get in a game with it. As the terminator has ruined all queue times above 10.0

The consequences of saying no to 0.7 br matches but adding back to back under br and op russian vehicles.

Its almost like 80-90% of all high tier players are currently playing one nation…

We already have it in air, I don’t see a problem with adding it to ground. We already have copy paste slop.
