[Discussion] Balance, Bias, Matchmaking and Battle Ratings

The Kfir is at 11.0 for 1 simple reason, SL per minute, why is it so high you ask, well it is a fast plane that can bomb before anything in a 10-12 BR radius apart from the F104s, but then it is pretty crap so dies quite quickly, so therefore high SL per min of game time.

Others will say it has one of the higher K/DR in the game, this is mostly due to everyone grinding Israel last, so you have people who have played all other TT in the game and are generally quite experienced so will naturally do better.

IMO it should be max 10.7, there are some 10.3s and 10.7s (J35XS, J7D ect) that should be moved up.

After spending several months on this forum, I realized that the developers are completely indifferent to these discussions. All I ever heard from the community managers was that they don’t play this game and have no contact with the developers. So what is the point of having discussions on the forum if they don’t influence anything? Perhaps the only purpose is to receive news about updates.

I’ve just had a battle with my 11.0 “line-up” with Russia on both sides, although guess what side was full of BMPTs and steamrolled another one without it.
Although I managed to get a few in my KF41 and A129)
PS I wish that awful 30 mm Bushmaster could fire faster.

Think the kills it does get is all AI.

The kfir game plays out 2 ways. .
Bomb 1 base, no kills and die soon after.

Bomb 1 base, enemy team evaporates and you can keep going back and forth bombing picking up 2 AI jets or more with the 9Gs.

All stats basically accumalating from PVE moments.

The problem is Gaijin balance off SL/M and not K/D or K/S, so you have stuff like the F104TAF, Kfir cannard and A-5C being ovtiered, while the J35XS, J7D and NF5A are all undertiered.

The J7D has a 1.5 K/D, this is a plane I see level 10s in regularly doing very well in, someone that new to the game should not being getting 3-4 kills a game.

The fact its strictly better than all previous mirages including the Mirage 3E at 10.7 in flight model by orders of magnitutes?

Mirage 3E gets 2 magic 1s and a radar missile, early missile loadout is better for ARB than late game 1v1s as they are so rare.

Sure! It’s also a complete piece of nothing in comparison with the FM. The radar missile is also a pulse missile so deploying one (1) piece of chaff is sufficient to fool it.

9Gs are not far behind Magic 1s in effectiveness. Both are 1 flared. 9Gs have 2x the range. Magic 1s have more pull.

I’m going to say it a third time, Kfir’s flight model is EXPONENTIALLY better than the Mirages at lower BRs. It is nowhere close.

Im not arguing against that, im saying Mig21SMT/MFs, J7Ds and NF-5s are far to good and need to go up.

Also Magic 1s have a lower FOV so if you fire within 1km it is much harder to flair it, and you cant use the range of the Kfirs 9Gs as its RWR is so bad you cant go to altitude.

Lastly the Mirage 3E is not amazing at 10.7, I would rather take the Mirage 3C at 10.0 as you can strap a rocket pod on it. There is also the Mirage 3S that gets 2 radar missiles and 2 IR at 10.3.

Western players would have to band together and boycott the game for a few days to be taken seriously, but the community lacks the backbone for that.

Last month or so i played- 1 jet stands out from many. It also has highest silver made which is why its probably sadly stuck at 11.0.

One of the saddest premiums in the game because it kills a base. IMO it would still just be an ok jet at 10.7
