Are these planes overpowered? I don’t understand, can someone explain?
Su-25SM3 has KH-38MTs which I guess they dont want to have included in the event as they would be 100x more effective than the ARM and they actually want feedback on the ARM
Su-27 and Su-33 would just dominate due to R-27ER

Su25sm3 shouldnt have been banned if they can use the regular missiles/rockets/bombs and only the kh38 banned.
While su27/33 its like an equivalent for the f15. But imo they three should be banned.

They could add su27, not su33, the whole reason it appears that the 29 9-13 is doing so wrll with r73 and 27ers is cause of the lack of awareness in america teams, and even more so now with the low levels joining and dying from 2km headons to r73 and sitting way above multipath to die to 27er
Not too mention that the F-4E vs Mig-29 is a massively one sided fight

There’s no USA equivalent for this event specifically.
But Mig-29 9.13 and F-15A are equivalents to each other.
I agree, F-15A vs Mig-23 is one sided. ;)
It’s why people should run the lower bracket if they don’t have F-15 or Mig-29.
The ARM’s are actually better than the KH38, they accelarate almost equally and have similar top speeds with longer burn times (except KH25UMP)
Mig-23 against F15 and F18C is definetely fair and balanced

Hardly, F-15A is superior in everything outside of Fox-1 quality. But playing trough both sides today, they might as well ban MiG-29 too, because US teams see R-27ER in the air and beeline towards it for a hug like a moth to the flame. Playing F-15A and seeing how everyone around you acts even worse than AI was truly depressing

Now theyve split the mode into two br ranges 10.3 - 11.7 & 12.0 - 13.0 they dont even need to ban the Iranian F-14. They should have added the Su-27 and Su-33 instead.
At least the Mig-23 can actually fire a SARH if the target is flying low.

Feedback on ARM? Everyone forgot about those, the event is about nukes lol. My only feedback is that they don’t work 90% of the time and won’t let you pick a target that’s within the seeker FoV, it just selects a random one that you don’t want.
What. MiG-29 already have 27ER. And its still abysmal piece of shit compared to 15A.
Which is more feedback then they would have gotten if redfor could just use KH-38

It’s supposed to be a late 70s era scenario from what I can surmise.
Only thing I wish they changed is have the B-52D instead of the 52H because now we won’t be able to get all the advanced weaponry of the 52H (maybe, maybe not). Also the 52H doesn’t really fit the vibe of the mission and timeline.
25SM3 is definitely wayyy to modern for the mission scenario. I could see Su-27P and F-15A would be a valid implementation for the mission

I dont know why would you think 6 R27ER or 4 ER and 2 ET with HMD on a good flight model would be remotely balanced in the event
