You could make it slightly less a total cut and paste by putting the later-model British 6-pdr (already in game) on the British Ram, which mirrors the late-production Rams getting the later model gun, as has been documented elsewhere.
While you’re fixing Canadian things, Prendergast’s Spitfire was an RCAF plane flown by a Canadian pilot and should probably have the WW2 Canadian flag on the stat card, if you wanted to address that too.
The Skink is pretty mid the ballistic on the early 20mm are terrible and penetration for anything more than a light tank is a none starter.
Your 6 gun 50 cal thing will be much better
Then let’s add the entire British TT to Italy bc the Romans once conquered Britania. That would be about as reasonable as the stupid commonwealth argument.
Don’t move the Skink to USA, this SPAA was a British development that was ordered and funded by the UK. it has nothing to do with USA. here is the documentation.
instead add the T36 or/& T52 or/& M114A2 to USA. those are American designers who are capable of being compared to the Skink.
also the T77E1 is going to be too strong for rank II, it will end up at rank III soon enough, a BR around 4.0 to 5.0 is also needed. As a SPAA this thing is very good. it can track and kill any plane and it is immune to the rockets that land around it, it’s also capable of taking a direct hit of the aircraft’s offensive armament. the .50cal has a lot of ammo which makes it unlikely to deplete the ammunition when you play as a plane. no way this would be a match for the aircraft at Rank II.
at Rank II, these vehicles would be way too overpowering. Gaijin tend to forget that the SPAA aren’t supposed to fight tanks again.
it should be at least rank III at a BR between 4,0 to 5.0
this thing is immune to the rockets and Shrapnel. which means the aircraft needs to land a direct hit to take it out. the M24 chassis already has decent armor against the aircraft and high mobility. the 6x .50cal have a lot of ammo each making it impossible for the aircraft to know when the SPAA is really out of ammo. basically, this thing will always win against the aircraft, and people will even bring it against the early jets where it will still perform well.
survivability, this thing is equivalent to the Crusader AA Mk II
but it has more mobility, firepower, and ammo than the Crusader AA Mk II
the Crusader AA Mk II is at 5.0 in AB & 4.0 in RB, i would expect the T77E1 to be a bit higher.
The TCM-20 is at 4.3 with less mobility, half the fire rate less ammunition, and protection for only 5mm better penetration at short range.
helping the team is one thing, but using the vehicles in a way that is not intended to is never effective. you can’t evaluate the T77E1 on the basis of its anti-tank capacity, no more than you can for the Skink. you need to consider his ability to fight aircraft and only this.
the ZSU-23-4 is also pretty bad against tanks, yet it is a much higher BR.
if there is no plane in the sky, then you do not spawn it
Making the proper decision about when to spawn a vehicle and how to play it is also part of the player’s skill.
if you are reduced to only having this to spawn, you help the way you can, but never seeking a direct fight against a proper tank would be effective with such vehicles. all you can do is to provide support and nothing more.
