[Development] T77E1: The Last Cowboy + Skink & Ram II News

While that is true, the advantage of having four high fire rate autocannons to blanket an enemy who’s too close to use a missile cannot be understated.

The Pantsir has no blindspots due to the combination of long range extremely fast missiles as well as the autocannon volume of fire.

The SPYDER has a better missile system, but it lacks the ability to cover its blind spot at close range. If an enemy gets in its face, it can’t do much on its own.

The Grippen is a Fighter Jet, not a bomber. If we look at CAS planes that are good at their job, take a look at the Russian Su-25SM3, which has a group of missiles with a range of 30KM. That loadout outranges the Pantsir by nearly double while being on the same side. Against the ADATS and Roland systems, they get outranged by nearly or more than 3 times.

I have to clue what the fudge i’m looking at but it’s damn beautiful

Is this a joke? Seriously, is it a joke? A Rank II SPAA will not fix the gap between the M19/M42 and the M163, all it does is fill in the gap from 2.7-4.0.

The Skink, however, would “help” with the SPAA gap, but couldn’t there have been a (more directly) domestic option? Or something between the 5.3-7.3 gap that will exist with the addition of the Skink?

I’m just so confused why this vehicle, out of all of the ones suggested, was added.

Nice, time for gaijin to realistically nerf the .50 and 20mm.

  1. i have not unlocked any of the agms with 20 km lock on range, and even those you can not effectiv ly use at 20 km range because then most targets aimed onto have broke the lock or are dead when impact
  2. the problem is that some nations to not have acces to those missles at 12.0 aircraft
  3. the pansir does also meat many 11.0 or 11.3 planes which have sometimes only laser guided oridnance, with which the fox3 of your whished SPAA are rendering totaly useless, since they would have to bank out 90° to evade the fox3, loosing guidiance of thier missle/bomb
    edit:
  4. mostly the planes to spawn in a range of 10-16km to the caps, meaning they could not evade a lock of the fox3 missles even if outranging it with its own missles, also fox 3 would be able to intercept planes even if they went instantly ground hugging

I am regularly killed by those missiles at that distance. As someone who likes to play Israeli top tier, I’d like to have literally anything that can fight back. A Chapparal is not remotely good enough. The only SPAA in the game that’s any good is the Pantsir.

The SPYDER is an Anti-Air Truck. It’s not going Mach and is very predictable in its location.

So we shouldn’t get it because it has a Counter???

What does Aircraft Fox-3 have to do with an AA vehicle?

the derby is a fox 3 missle

The SPYDER is not a jet, so what does comparing a jet fired DERBY to a SPAA ground based DERBY even do?

The Ram should go to Britain as Canada is part of the commonwealth and the US is not that seems like a pretty good reason to add the Ram to Britain?

i will doubt that WT would program a new radar seeker for the DERBY SPAA missle, and a fox 3 seeker is a fox 3 seeker with 20m multipathing (which does not seem much untill trees reach 30m) …

It’s literally fired from a stationary position on the ground. You cannot compare performance between the two directly.

also the SPYDER which is not only a starter, but an all in one solution looks like this

The duster can be used as a tank killer and an spaa. The T77 is only really effective as an spaa.

Why would you want it higher? It should be slightly above the M19.

What does that have to do with the m1a1? 2 different cases, imo the hunter belonged in UK but what can anyone do about that now?

Mhh, Tatra suspension.

i like it too, but not in wt

B/c it’s not modeled properly?

Yeah.

because i do not see a point in an spaa which needs to stop and push it self on stands

Oh, well, yeah, makes sense.
