[Development] Collecting Your Ideas for the 2024 Roadmap

How would you do that?

Just for you to remember, when being full uptiered, only 4 aircrafts can be +1.0 of your BR, out of current 16.

And no full uptier means no full downtier aswell.

Meh,…

Yes

Why not, but we just need an overhaul of the spawns and rules of spawning, imo.
With 2 spawns/team and a rule to spread people evenly (on EC maps of course)

For who?

Why not, but remember it isn’t easy to do. ^^"
Most FPS gamemodes like CTF aren’t possible for this game.

Normal events (shortenned)
An event is for people to have fun, if you have no fun for the event, it’s not an event. ^^"

I don’t see what you want there, since there is no navigationnal radar system implemented in game, nor is Automated flight.

Not only wheeled ones, tbh → some tanks are unable to climb a 10° hill,…

Here’s is my top 10 list of Ideas for War Thunder for 2024

  1. Large and Varied Maps: Design a large map with varied objectives that allow for both PvE and PvP combat. Remove enemy nametags to make search radar more useful and reward attentive players.

  2. Improved Tutorial Missions: Create new tutorial missions for controlling technically complex types of aircraft weaponry, such as guided missiles and bombs with laser seekers, as well as missiles with TV and thermal imaging heads.

  3. Historical Locations and Battles: Introduce new maps based on historical locations and battles. Players appreciate authenticity and immersion, so consider adding iconic battlefields from different eras and theaters of war.

  4. Enhanced Damage Models: Continuously improve damage models for vehicles, including tanks, planes, and ships. Realistic damage representation enhances gameplay and adds depth to combat.

  5. Balanced Matchmaking: Refine matchmaking algorithms to ensure fair and balanced matches. Address issues related to vehicle tiers, BR (battle rating), and nation-specific lineups.

  6. New Vehicle Types: Introduce new vehicle types, such as armored cars, amphibious vehicles, or self-propelled artillery. Diversify the gameplay experience by adding unique vehicles to each nation’s tech tree.

  7. Community Events and Challenges: Organize regular in-game events, challenges, and tournaments. These events engage the player base, encourage participation, and provide rewards for dedicated players.

  8. Quality of Life Improvements: Address minor annoyances and enhance the overall user experience. Examples include customizable controls, improved UI, and better communication tools.

  9. Historical Accuracy: Continue striving for historical accuracy in vehicle performance, armament, and appearance. Players appreciate attention to detail and authenticity.

  10. Community Collaboration: Involve the community in decision-making processes. Regularly seek feedback, conduct surveys, and actively listen to player suggestions.
