It’s just about tolerable as well. Worst part is how either bombing or being a really good pilot (someone who picks cracked planes) is the minimum requirement to get grinding done.

30 second respawn for bases made Air actually much better, but it privileges planes like Phantoms that sacrifice 0 weapons and just some flight performance to be able to melt a few bases on the side.

We may need upwards of 23.7 IMHO.

I ran some numbers to find a way to get extra BR placements to fix some of the current problems.

This would give developers places to slot marginally under/over performing vehicles, since there’s a slot above and a slot below each existing BR.

Or they could start at the lowest BR.

  1. take the vehicles underperforming and leave them at their current BR.
  2. take the vehicles performing fine and shift them and every higher BR vehicle up 1 step.
  3. take the vehicles overperforming and shift them and every higher BR vehicle 2 steps up.

Underperforming vehicles are fighting things too strong for them to handle, creating space is the only way to see what’s underneath.

Expanding the top cap doesn’t help, space MUST be created bottom up, not top down.

Vehicles should only be shunted down in BR as a last resort.

I don’t think it’s too spaced out at all. Pretty much any BR you choose to play right now, being bottom BR is a nightmare, the top BR vehicles are usually radically superior, not just marginally so.

You can still fight them, kill them and win, but that’s not due to the situation being particularly easy or fair, but due to some quirks of certain BR ranges.
Example, the first tankes to get decent APFSDS (105mm DM23/M111) are capable of penetrating any full uptier tank, but usually have definitely inferior mobility and/or gun handling and/or thermals and so on.

But most players here jsut want to have more fair gameplay within Specifics Sub-BR ranges of current system (and they’re right,… aircraft Top-tier is awfully compressed,… same with BR range 9.0-10.0 and same with 6.0-7.0)

But the rest is fine,… and yet you choosed to over-decompressed the whole game from that solution of yours,… which is all but Game compatible (enjoy Queue times of 2 hours for certains BR you proposed,…)

In my judgement, probably ghost BR’s are a product of the gameplay being bad at that BR.

Queue times decrease as the game is made better, people play when they aren’t so frustrated that they stop playing or quit the game alltogether.

I personally avoid playing a few BR ranges because they are insufferable in certain vehicles.

Decompression CAN solve some of these issues, it may even increase the playercount if done correctly.

If other major positive changes are done for the game, we may see more players than ever before.

Yes and doing a decompression up to 23.0 is just gonna do the opposite (with all honesty i can have)

I’d like to see an argument or any evidence… I’ve argued my case. I’ve made some points and so on. You’ve just said “No” and gestured vaguely that queue times would go up… for some reason… Even though queue times in pretty much any ground BR I’ve ever played in my experience is like a few seconds.

I would not care if queue times were like 30 seconds or so.

First of all you didn’t take everything but Tanks in account for your solutions,…

But since you’re showing a table generally spreaded out without any consideration for the current game, you’re just not solving anything,… but asking gaijin to increase as well the BR spread (thus negating you’re 23.0 BR)

First of all :
→ decompression is ONLY needed in parts of BR range where technology difference within 1.0/1.3 is bringing trouble

For exemple:
In aircrafts side of the game:
BR 6.0-7.3 → Jets vs Propellers aircrafts
BR 7.7-8.7 → first missiles appears only for some aircrafts
BR 9.0-10.3 → we have a change of gameplay, from early missiles to 30G rear aspect missiles + going through Mach 1+ and Mach2+ able aircrafts
BR 10.3-11.0 → Flares and All-aspects only for some aircrafts
BR 11.3-12.3 → even more technological disadvantage

Meanwhile most of the Propeller side of the game is Fine, apart some aircrafts that are currently needing to be rebalanced → this side of the game doesn’t need to be expended in BR.

In tanks:
There is technological disadvantage for some tanks as well in specifics BR

Helicopters have the same kind of troubles as well.

→ in the end each changes in each kind of TT should be done in order to not create a gap between type of vehicules, because the game itself is proposing combined arms gameplay.

I can easily dodge any fox-1 missile going low on almost all maps (doesnt work on canyons sometimes). Most of the time I don’t even carry chaff because its not needed. You fly low (and low i mean if you don’t see the trees you’re dead) and you can go straight. No need to dodge, no need to chaff, just go stupid low. It works on air realistic, it works very well on sim. The only radar missile that can hit you is the AIM-54 with splash damage when it hits the ground.
