hes right, the amraam is not like the aim 54, the aim 120 is fast, smokeless and its relatively maneuverable, it can and it will break meta, you literally will not be able to fire back with your fox 1s because trying to shoot back will get you killed by the aim 120. even the aim120a will be REALLY REALLY good(unless gaijoobles gimps it :)), and they only get better, modern aim120 are so maneuverable they can be used to great effect in a dogfight scenario(even though they dont happen anymore).

And AIM-120 is literally F&F, missile don’t rely on your radar after being fired, and has 75km range
Just like the aim-54 has ‘‘200km’’ range.
In 0.1% of situations that almost never occur in actual combat. R-27ER has 100km listed as its range. Aim-7M seems to be also ‘‘100km’’.
Now compare phoenix to what we had to fight it when f14 got introduced…

I just pointed out that the “range” means literally nothing, as everyone knows R60 max range is around 2-3km at best.
Not 10km as stated in statcard.
So the apparent 75km AMRAAM range is irrelevant when talking about this game.
I thought using " made my comment pretty clear, but i guess not.
10km is possible when:
Firing it at high altitude 8km+
To an ennemy situated below you of about 3km difference altitude,…
→ it is all about LAUNCH PARAMETERS
but since you’re not taking care of that,… how would you know.
