[Development] Chieftain 900: Royal Ordnance’s Chieftain

if that gets it put to 8.7 i’m fine with that

but it would get the L15A5 shell, which also has completely fake performance as it’s identical to the L15A3 shell ingame

I’m guessing 9.3. With just RHA assuming they don’t just give it standard structural steel instead (wouldn’t put it past them).

They said it will be slightly better than the Mk.5, i don’t think it’s going to be anything good

If anything they could just put big structural steel ballast blocks in place of the composite to give it at least some armour while also keeping it true to life

YES! HOLY YES! ALL YES!

Hype hype hype!
Let’s go!

gents? are we feasting?

So do we reckon this is going into that 2nd line, the export/commonwealth line or will it go with the other chieftains?

Cool addition either way.

Spoiler

Of course mobility is great to get but I still wait for the vickers MBT upgraded variants :P

Im very happy for the British Enjoyers. I don’t play them much but I think this will be a good addition to the game.

It better have a working tea machine inside!

New game mode when?

I hope cv 90120 T drops eith amap, and stuff 🥹

that’s the Mk.5/2K that gets the upgraded fire control

No, they replaced the original Mk 5 one with a newer one.

Read Mk 5 on the bottom source, in the list it clearly says tank laser sight.

I’ve always wondered why we don’t have a early Chieftain with a LRF ingame, considering it was the first tank to ever receive a LRF

Though it should be on a special variant in-game, as no production Chieftain prior to Mk 6 was fitted with it afaik

This update feels exciting, hopefully more crazy machinery, by the way, any chance for the FV 4211? Fairly light retaining some mobility yet armored by a interesting armor package, Chobham, similar to Abrams’ and Challenger 1s’:
