It should be L23A1 not L23, also when is the Mk10 getting its L23A1 round?
L23 has been established as not an existing round.
so the MSC can get its Composites which it never had yet this can’t ? why not give it the composites and make it a 10.0 tank that works with the Shir 2?

Im hoping this means it will be at a more reasonable BR. Like 9.3 instead of being a FV4030/3 esk vehicle at 10.0.
Make it viable alongside the Mk10 where we’ve only really got the Mk10 instead of a fourth MBT for the 10.0/10.3 setup
It would be nice if gaijin gave the Cheiftain Mk.10 its accurate 840hp engine (the report is accepted yet nothing has been done)

Tank looks good and will be a valued addition regardless of where it’s placed. However I would instead propose introducing the Chieftain 800 with this chieftain 900 in a folder with it. The 800 without the Chobham, and the 900 with. Otherwise both more or less serve the same purpose and really we need these lines fleshing out.
Precedent for adding this armour doesn’t just exist with the Leclerc either.

It can’t be 9.3 realistically as that means it would sit at the same as the Khalid which has roughly the same mobility, same round, reload, LRF, worse protection.
Though I really do not care I can’t wait for this to be here.
The L23A1 would be nice to bolster the 10.0 lineup meaning it doesn’t have to be uptiered to 10.3

- You guys are going to convert the 900 hp into ps without us having to report it, right? If we get yet another British MBT engine that’s been measured in BSS and not DIN I swear to god…
- There is no such round as L23, as described in the Chieftain 1988 armaments pamphlet the APFSDS round is L23A1.
- What an… interesting decision you made on the inclusion of the composite.

Yup I also thought that odd to give it the L23 when it has been proven time and time again to have never existed. L23A1 is what it would technically have if it has that.
Though they could actually rectify L15A5 and give it the proper values it’s supposed to have as it stands right now it’s identical to the L15A3 which was a worse round and replaced by the 15A5
Found that to be the only punch in the gut with this tank.

Well, that’s certainly a choice.
It’s a very bad choice, seeing how this thing is going to be 9.0 at the very least.
We are already in the world of fake weapons in the game, so there’s no reason to not include it.
