the APDS on the L15A3 im sure is modelled as longer rod as well as being about 7 KG it does a significant amount of damage
I don’t tend to get that as of the past maybe year or so.
Odd days the L7 cannon apds may just do hit but that’s it.
had a T55AM1 shoot clean through my turret the last time I used it funnily enough. I’d rather the Shir 2 lost the damn l23 and got the L15A5 corrected and went down tbh

We have consistently said make it the correct L15A5 not standard.

The L15A3 was out of service for the L15A5 by the 1970s when Shir 2 was being designed.
Then give it the options for thermals, chobham and the L23A1 round. Or just fix the fking L15A5 and boom sorted.
It doesn’t need a dart to be that BR, hell I explicitly run the Shir 2 with the L15A5 and keep 2 L23s for extreme situations.
Last time I took out the conq I got 8 kills with it , its APDS is fine now adays in my experience.

i want 1960s 105 APFSDS.

I had it with like 50% of the APDS I fired last few matches in the Chieftain Mk5 but I reliably get kills with L23 in the Mk10.
I was averaging more assists than kills most games.
Dunno, a quick search on the internet tells me it’s APDS-T

you have to be a little more deliberate with your shell placement due to its disgustingly lowballed flat pen than you would initially think tbh. but as far as APDS goes in game it is the cream of the crop.
gaijin moments are more of a problem than that is tho

Even like 50-100hp would be very noticeable. 300hp difference is crazy. This will probably get a slower reverse speed as well so Khalid will be a lot more better than the 900 even with the paper add on armor.

the difference between mk3 and mk5 warrants a BR difference tbh. however a performance cars worth of power difference really demands it

The Mk3 should be 8.3 and the Mk5 should just get APFSDS and stay at 8.7. The Chieftain 900 should sit alongside the Chieftain Mk10 at 9.0 with APFSDS, the stronger engine and no extra armor.
They could also finally give the Rooikat Mk1D the longRod spall modifier so it actually does damage and move it to 9.0 too which would make for a good lineup.

Maybe the snail just decided to let me play some nice matches for once and I’m going back to HESH ricochets, HEAT dealing literally no damage and proxy HE and SAMs only ever damaging flaps and landing gears soon
