i thought it said so too, but:

It’s to fill the gap between Buc S2 at 9.3 and Tornado Gr1 at 11.3…
I’m guessing 10.3 to match the Su25, A10 and A6. No point adding it at 10.7.as we have no 10.7 ground line up
Gunna be weird not using TIALD
Not having ground lineup never stopped Gaijin from adding something.
When it’s something more CAS focused. I’m sure it’s something they consider. At least until June when It could move independently in air and ground
Whiskys. No “E”.
Quite imperative
i mean, the AJS37 has no main gun, has no built in flares and no radar missiles.
biggest bomb is 120kg and only TV-guided missiles. the TV-guided take the same slots as the all-aspect missiles so you can either take 2 TV-guided and 2 all-aspect or 4 TV-guided with no all-aspect (and then 2 rear-only on top of either of those).
if you ask me it does not really hold its own at BR 11.0 GRB let alone ARB or AAB.
And we have flareless subsonics that go as high as 9.3-9.7, along with flareless supersonics that go as high as 10.7 - Meaning that there is yet another aircraft coming that they will be food for, because apparently to Gaijin they’re just not being farmed enough yet.
I’m not the one having a comprehension issue, here. Seems other folks are.
Hoping for some Exocet then, for both Super Étendard, Mirage 2000 and following Rafale
(Do not forget my 8xGBU-12 for M4000)
Surely actual targets for the Martel missiles will be re-added to air RB right? …Right?
Whilst I understand the point you are trying to make. The damage is already done via the other All-aspect slingers at that BR, its unfair though, that its only a few nations that have such an asset, in perticular, the Premiums. It is ultimately though, a compression issue. Though in June, some of these aircraft can move about and help relieve the problem a bit.
That being said. The Buc S2B I dont think will be the same at all. First things first, it has no guns, its primary and only form of Air to air defence is the 2x 9Ls. Secondly and this is the more important point here. They are optional. I reckon even in ARB, you wont always run 9Ls and in gamemodes like GRB, probably never.
I know in ASB I’ll have 9L loadouts ready, but i’ll probably not use them often
So how many GBUs it could take? only 3?
Interesting that it was the RAF and not naval version that had AShM capabilities
I think so. 3 + Pavespike. I dont think any can be taken in the internal bomb bay
Just a matter of timings.
The Sea Harrier was equipped with Sea Eagles Im guessing that there was little point for the RN to upgrade the Bucs with ASMs as they were being phased out anyway. The Bucs would have probably been scrapped altogether if it wasnt for the fact that the RAF was in need of them, and so modernised them.
The RAF S.2B version was equipped with Sea Eagle anti-ship missiles in real life.
True but also a heavy blind fold from Gaijin.
The Super Étendard is a perfect exemple of that → MAGIC-2 is currently limited to never go under 11.3BR Aircraft.
But AIM-9L have no problem being put on 10.3 aircrafts…
→ showing a Heavy differences in between nation balance. (Magic-1 is a good rear-missile, but is not an All-aspect one, making the Super-Étendard to always be defensive, unless being undetected)
However,… lot of 9.3 aircrafts (F86F30 and previous/MiG-21F-13 or Su-7’s as exemples) with no flares/no missiles are facing those missiles.
The problem is that Gaijin is not giving similar means to any nations, and Absolutely ZERO ways to counter those missiles for the lowest BR range aircrafts.
Similarly, a La-15 compresses so much that you can’t dodge AIM-9B shot at high speeds from 1.2km-1.5km away.
To me the whole game in between 8.0 to 12.7 today is needing a HEAVY BR Rework, with actual Relimitation up to 13.7BR
Well, Great Britain is kinda one big aircraft carrier, so also its air force is kinda like navy…
Just joking, but what I mean to say s that also the air force would be tasked with coastal defense, given the geography of Great Britain, no?
All the aircraft that have 9L at 10.3 are subsonic
