I hope devs do understand why that’s not the healthiest solution, to leave thing be like this? At this point we shall as well wait for F-14 and MiG-25 for Japs, T-series for the US and that Western tech for Soviets

Can’t wait for Sweden to rock n roll with Leclerc and Abrams that were also trialed alongside T-80U and Leo2. Swedish bias will be real with these ones
The only major model change so far is Sweden’s CV90105, so I think it would be a bit difficult to modify this replica. Maybe you could try to have the real Oplot-P appear in the future tech tree?

I can’t access dev server as I am console player, but afaik the devs chose the easiest (and by definition the worst) way – they simply changed the “P” to “M”.
At this point it feels like triple standards, not only because trialed vehicles were no longer available to any other nation since Sweden but now it somehow starts off with Chinese TT (guess who asked for “unique” and “domestic stuff”?)
Looks very good already. If you’re basing it off the prototype during testing it seems close to finished even. Only missing some detail on the ERA boxes and to make them thinner because they’re only single layer ERA.
Not sure why this wasn’t possible for Gaijin, but I’m guessing since they outsource the models it would cost more to modify an older model?

I meant that as in it would cost money, unlike modifying something made internally would. Not sure about the prices themselves.
Though maybe it’s also availability / time, since they comission these much in advance usually. So having something done now might just not be possible from the same 3D modeller or cost more for having such a quick deadline.
Though I guess they did modify the Oplot T model to remove the stored ERA that was on the roof and around the gun at the same time. So most likely it’s just they were to cheap completely.

those parts are seperate in the 3d model so even a nobody could figure out how to click and press delete on them
tbf if they have the model, regardless of if its made internally or externally, they can do edits themselves, willingness is another matter

I would recommend as I said making a suggestion topic for this vehicle and including this in it. The Oplot-M is the intended vehicle that’s set and configured already for this major update. At this stage this cant be changed.
Its not just the 3D model, but other elements too.
