Maybe ingame once the model is fixed, there could be a modification to upgrade the ERA to this standard

yeah its sad to see them tripping out at what is a logical bug report.
if only they knew the lack of sources on the oplot-P (they didnt because they added the wrong tank)
they would understand that conventional and usual guidelines cannot be used in this scenario.
also not to mention what ever he attached:
it broke the historical section and it doesnt load anything anymore
i cant even acces my own attached files in there much less what he attached

by the way it is not a very well known thing but most of such bug reports who we find to be handled… less than admirably/sensibly, are handled not by technical mderators but rather the QA team and Alpha testers etc.
and those people are not well equipped to handle such tasks imo. theyre not as invested in this either. copy pasta was kinda made a thing by their all too often use
so id say almost all tech mods are to be respected.

Hello. The plan was for the Oplot that was trialed, this one photographed. The devs are reviewing the matter as a whole, but it will likely be renamed to Oplot-M.

Unfortunate, people were hoping for something different in terms of the 3d model. I guess we can hope for a second oplot for the Chinese TT :9

So its Pakistan(China) going to get a wrong tank in the next update as a squadron vehicle? How does gaijin allow this? will it be cancelled at least instead of getting a fake tank next update?
Why does Gaijin allows two times this happening like with ud/be T-80 tank?! Where is the control in your company, why is china getting such a bad treatment…
What can we expect for the next update, a wrong tank copy paste? no tank? it will be remodeled after 2 years wait time? The “trialed” one?

Just out of curiosity (not to confirm / deny any direct plans), does this mean the real Oplot P could be a viable addition in the future? Just ignore this, I somehow missed the answer to the exact question
If so I think the more unique variant would be a great techtree addition once Gaijin plan to add more Pakistani vehicles in the main tree.
This is VERY disappointing…
The fact is… changing the model is relatively easy…
Just remove a bunch of side skirts and make new era panels for the front side.
All we wouldve really needed on top of that is a new green camo…

Arent the ingame Oplot T and dev Oplot P models fundamentally the same? Or am I missing some changes that i just cant see?
Either the current Oplot-P is a placeholder, or they’re going to rename it Oplot-M
I fear the latter is more likely sadly

In game us they are the same as the oplot-M
Irl the OPLOT-P is the latest and most effective with new ERA, ERA arrangements and a bit lighter chassis.
As smin said… they might rename it… but i really hope they just fix it… or they will never get to it

Making the copypaste oplot-m is much easier than a remodeled oplot-p, so that’s what they are apparently going to do for this small update. I didn’t know that the oplot-p have different ERA, which is very interesting, in fact, I thought that the oplot-p would be the slightly watered down version.

Yeah it uses nizh ERA on the side which is a lot better than the older duplet

btw both were trialled.
the M doesnt have many photos (only 1 that we know of) from the pakistani trials and the P has a lot of pre-trial photos as well as 1 video post trials. (that we know of)
