I’m abit confused isnt the F-16 we have ingame is an F-16C from the PoBIT upgrade program right, It should have everything an F-16V should have
Since it has the SABR Apg-83 radar

More non-burner thrust less burner thrust. So it’ll be worse for in game.
It’s DOA even if it gets full PoBIT and goes down in BR.
the Block -x2’s engine has Higher 100% thrust, lower Thrust in full A/B so is worse for T/W slightly due to being heavier by 100lb too.
That’s why i want the triple racks, they’re its only hope tbh
Well, nobody knows. Gaijin does its shenanigans, introducing the Block 52 only as a matter to shut the USA mains and to “save” American top tier.

99% of the time you are full afterburner in warthunder, so GE129 is better.
Tbh there’s little to none difference between a 8.9t airframe and a 9t airframe.
Not really. 4 extra 120s won’t really help it much with the state they’re in.
Funnily enough i tested 120D and it has worse close range performance and 2-4% difference in long range performance (time to impact of the 2 missiles were literally 2 seconds apart)
So it’s a revised PIDSU ( 3 Countermeasure magazines per pod) with the the option for the MWS & front end of the PIDS+ (RWR ball nose) mounted, should have 3D aural warnings too
Fully expected, but hey the Forum Moderators are still so adamant that “It’s still WORK IN PROGRESS guys don’t say it’s DOA, trust”
(the “GNSS” guidance is also useless)
Who knew that the US wasn’t actually upgrading AIM120s IRL, they were just downgrading them the whole time.
In what aspect can we expect a improved ALR-69A in WT?
Secret scheming by the lizard people.
I am currently updating the dev server so What is the F16C block 52 missing right now
I will name some that I know
GBU 53 Stormbreakers
Legion IRIST POD
Thales Scorpion HMD
GBU 54
PIDS
Nothing relevant until ESM mechanics are added, so contacts can be handed off to sensors, datalinks and stores. otherwise it’s just the generic improvements.
- Detection range and time
- Accuracy of threat identification
- Location of threat emitter systems
- Performance in a dense signal environment
- Reliability and maintainability
just some engineers stripping and pocketing a few copper cables, slapping a new letter on it and then being like “look guys new letter, new missiles much upgrades much wow pls buy”
Either Scorpion or JHMCS II. JHMCS II is currently being used but Scorpion is starting to be fitted.
