Decrease base respawn intervals

With the recent 50% discount on Tornado IDS WTD61, 10.3 - 12.3 matches are now filled with Tornado players and there’s simply not enough bases on the map for everyone, specially when the said players get a downtier (which is not uncommon) and get in the same team as A-6, A-7, A-10, Su-25, A-5C, Super Etendard, Jaguar, Harrier/AV-8 which are way slower than Tornado and will only get to the frontlines after all the bases have been bombed and have to survive for 5 minutes until the bases respawn which is super hard for the mentioned aircrafts. To make the matter worse, Tornado doesn’t necessarily need to be in a down tier to absolutely devour all the bases, even against 11.3 bombers like the Su-17/22 it still outruns them and even in an uptier to 12.3 as long as it flies close to the ground and avoid radar missiles it can get to the bases before other bombers in team get and yet again devour all of the bases. The only solution for this problem is to reapawn bases faster so even when the Tornado gets all the bases another wave of bases respawn for when the slower bombers get to the frontline.

It can be solved by decreasing the respawn time for bases. If Gaijin does not want to bother itself to make the matchmaker better by not dumping 10 bombers in the same match and distribute bombers in more matches, the best solution in hand is to make the bases respawn faster. It’s simple logic I don’t know why is Gaijin not understanding

Problem is, the concept of bomber is gone at this br, almost.

Most planes aren’t classified as striker/bomber anymore

F-4S is a fighter.

There should be some sort of classification then, just like real life where only a couple of planes get the order to carry bombs and the rest are solely there to provide air cover for the said strikers, in War Thunder players must be able to choose the payload they want to play before hitting the play button and based on that payload they should be placed in some sort of queue, then based on the map only a few planes with bombs can join per match. for example 4 bombers per match sounds good, then once the 4 bombers were found no more players who intend to bomb bases and have that payload should be allowed to join that specific match and will go to the next match. This is a working solution to solve this problem, now it is up to Gaijin to implement this rather complicated and huge mechanic or just make the bases respawn faster

Problem is, Gaijin will not listen to any of the said solutions (classification based on payload and role or making the bases respawn faster) even though the latter is easier to implement

Both options only bring benefit to dedicated bomber mains, but the first is actually terrible as it takes away from players (their freedom to freely choose their loadout respectively).

So, as much as i hate zombers, only the second option is actually viable solution.

Which is funny cause the Tornado is faster.

to be fair bombers are already in disadvantage in terms of fighting capabilities and in the current top tier meta they are essentially just free kills for fighters, specially for F-14 users with AIM-54 that snipe any bomber going for bases from tens of kilometers away and because the bombers are heavy and are trying to get to the bases, can’t notch the missile and get back to hanger with no SL and RP earned

On min fuel and only 4 bombs maybe,with full bombload its not.

Oh how wrong that statement is.

Mach 1- 74 seconds.
Mach 1.05- 86 seconds.
Mach 1.07- 101 seconds.

Took off at exact same time as rest of theam,the F-4S with bombs is 1.86 km infront of me and i am not closing the distance. Before i reached the bases,there were none as all got destroyed by Phantoms.

Then they brought less afterburner fuel than you.

If what you say is true, then the phantoms are worse off. Either way, current bases are insufficient for a 12-16 player match of mostly bombers/CAS

Not so much anymore. Tornado gets there faster and now since the phantoms can’t use rockets tornados usually get the base first.

12x 1k lbs…your gonna be slow with that amount…need less bombs and slightly less fuel…

Your bringing to many bombs. 10 is for 2 bases. 5 for one. Bringing enough of one base is more consistent in your rp gain because you get their faster.

Gaijin isn’t going to discourage the sale of bomber zombies it’s 90% of their sales between larger sales.

Bombing bases was much better around the time the F-111 came out with the “bug” that made bases respawn in like 1 minute. Then ofcourse once people started to notice how much better it was Gaijin reverted it back under the guise that it was a bug.
