A little while ago, 4th gen aircraft were moved up in BR because of how oppressively they performed against 3rd gen aircraft. While not without its flaws it was overall a good decision.
Now the recent BR changes aim to undo this change, lowering the BR of many near-top aircraft, presumably in response to these aircrafts’ performance against 13.7s in uptiers.
And all I have to say is WHY THE FLYING F*CK WOULD YOU DO THIS??? It’s just beating down on the 11.7s and 12.0s that already had minimal separation from these F-16s and such! You’ve once again put F-15s, Su-27s, and F-16s at the BRs of MiG-29s, even F-16s without SARH! They’re only .3 BR above a bloody F-4!
And there is NOTHING preventing 13.7s from moving up! If F-16s are really struggling why not decompress and move up the top 13.7s to 14.0 or even 14.3 instead of actively and knowingly compressing BRs and making the game explicitly worse?!?
That’s a serious question, who the hell thought this was a good idea? Did you just need to keep OP US aircraft to sell F-20s or something?
