De Havilland Mosquito NF.30 - When a USAAF Unit Goes Night Hunting with the Wooden Wonder

Tbf it was a much more target rich environment back then. There was a world war going on if you didn’t know

So?

+1

The Swedish tech tree is GONE
No more
It’s all irrelevant as in ww2 Sweden shot down nothing

lwk I want all captured/leand lease vehicles removed, keep them IF they are modified

While I support RealK on “mosquito must not be in USA”, the argument is just not really valid

I don’t Britain, or any nation of that matter, to dillute themselves by “sharing”
If historical MM returns (axis vs allies / NATO vs Warsaw), then sure, Britain, US, France, USSR can all be buddies and Japan, Italy and Germany can all share some airframes.

Maybe add the P-70 instead of this, research was very informative to me tho, didn’t know US used mosquitoes and scored an A2A kill w them.

What I meant by A6M2(USA) in context was
1- If he really wants to deny mosquitoes because nothing but no A2A Kill, and call it as ‘No historic relevance.’
2- Then A6M2(USA) and such need to be removed because they also have no A2A kill ‘while she was on service with USAAF’
3- or Conqueror tank can be removed because Conq never scored russian tank kill be cause Cold War stayed cold.
4- XP-50 and other prototypes also need to be removed because they also never had an A2A kill
5- maybe even F-22.

oh okie okie I understand.

Captured vehicles should still be blown up to pieces

So…
Just normal captured, bought but c&p vehicle ← no
They swapped machineguns of vehicle for longer service length (Such as South African Ju-86) ← yes
?

There are planes in game that had no victories and even IRL planes in mass service who never say any real action.

Anyway the De Havilland Mosquito (the wooden wonder) was considered a wonderful aircraft and had great interest in the USA as most aircraft could not out run it.

Ehh, I mean, I would disagree; it’s clearly a historic enough type that the USAF actually went out of their way to buy one for display at the National Museum of the US Air Force. And considering how relatively strict they are about what gets included in the Air Force’s permanent collection, I’d say there’s definitely some relevance.

I’m not the one saying vehicles should not be added because of not seeing action, I’m pointing out what stupid idea that is.
I mean what happens to the Swiss sub-tree if you make that a rule? When’s the last time they fought in a conflict? the 1840s or something? Japans entire post WW2 tech tree would have to go, so on and so on.

hell, even the WW2 army tree past 2.7 would dust away, since Japan mothballed them into the defense of the main island / just prototypes (chi-ha lg).

Never used since the expected US invasion never happened.

I was agreeing with you.

Then again Swiss air force did intercepts which is considered a full combat mission even if its a airliner they also did shoot down Allied and German aircraft. Some victories don’t have to be won without a shot that is why there is intercepts victory marks (you did functionally nothing but you disserved it because jumping in a fighter is dangerous no matter what).

Sweden evaporated from existance

Oh, ok, sorry I misread it as you thinking I was making the argument for not adding stuff that didn’t have a significant battle record.
