Dear diary,
today I learned that apparently somewhere the Olympic Games were over… again. I don’t really care any more about any news not related to War Thunder since I became an adept of The Snail.
The grind for the F-14A IRIAF is going well so far, I’m happy about that.
On the downside, my wife refused to empty my bedpan this morning, and she wouldn’t even bring me energy drinks. Also my kids didn’t want to approach be, because apparently I ‘smell funny’… heck it’s not even christmas yet, that’s when I take a break from The Grind to take a shower.
Ah well, I’ll soon have a new F-14, Iranian no less…
He has contacted me outside of the game and let me know he is alright . . nothing bad happened. Just reached a point where, after all those years, he decided that he has finished playing the game for the foreseeable future.
He was a dedicated player with mad numbers and a reliable Squadron mate and friend I made here in the game.
I will miss not having him around, but I am grateful to know he is ok and living life in the real world.
Real world does come first . . .
What difference does that make? . . . and why would you even care about what other people play? . . . not everyone can handle the faster pace and constant action of AB . . . so they made slower modes for those that can’t keep up.
It’s a video game, try to save your “judgement” of others out in the real world.

Yeah, for some folks, that have been playing the game and haunting the Forum for many years, you have people you remember . . for whatever reason . . .lol, good or bad . . and that 's ok. DerLachendeMann was a guy I met in the general chat years ago, played with/against and we became friends. He always had better numbers than me, but started earlier too . . so we “rivalled” at that stuff . . . lol, all in fun. He was(is) a good guy . . .
And just the same with you, here on the Forum . . . been reading your stuff for ages is seems like and I would miss that if you left as well . . .
Guess I’m “sentimental” . . . .lol, but old friends here are good to come by . . .
