VNe in game is calculated by that * 1.05. As a result, we get 1458 km/h.

oh! that is lower the mirage2k-5 of 1512km if that was the case then its actually little sad to be honest

i hope if airbrakes arent added they will atleast increase drag with landing flaps

can we get some news about the mica getting its full performers range and drag !

Surely micas are good at long range then!

if only its arh has 100% power it would be fine until mica ir can be added

hmm surely!!

This is so wrong it’s hilarious

there was a bug report for it referencing this position of the elevons but got hit with the “not a bug”

what else could this position be for???/

tbh I have never seen or heard of what is shown in the image as an airbreak for raf but thats just me though

Yep. But apparently it doesn’t work, because physics don’t work and it would send it into the ground. Ignore the 2 canards at the front, they have 0 relevance to this.

Not a typhoon thread. Go to the typhoon thread.

and the two outer elevons still in control, plus aircraft like the F-35 do the same thing except with their rudders as airbrakes :sob:

You guys are doomposting way too much lmao.

Look, I’d understand you want a better MICA, and personally I’d like a full 8 AAM loadout, regardless of accurate it is, because it’s much better for the game balance.

However, if all the Rafale gets is 6 of the current MICA, its current devserv FM and a working AESA (or even PESA), it’s gonna be absolutely monstrous in Air RB. Yes it’s a one-trick that mostly has to fly defensive, but it’s already quite easy with the current 2000-5F to get 6/6 MICA to hit if you know what you’re doing and the team didn’t kill everything before you get in range. It’s fine.

To me what will make or break this plane is the AESA and particularly the maximum gimbal. If it gets 70-80° angle for the HMD it’s gonna absolutely rip things to shreds.

Frankly, they need to fix this. Dunno how we’re going to report it, given they seem averse to understanding physics. But something needs to be done.

everyone outside of this thread ive tried explaining its airbrakes to just cant wrap their head around it? i think its a pretty easy thing to understand and implement
