They are not, all the sources that were used were shown in this forum and none of them show a French Rafale F3, they are either export variants, or demonstrators for shows or it is just not the right version of the aircraft

Correct. French GoV confirmed F.4.1 added more MICA, not F.3R.

To be fair the simple fact that we have a HMD on a Rafale F-3R shows that this is a mashup of variants, at best including only export ones, at worst including F4.1 too

While the JHMCS is indeed from F.4 (considering its Scorpion and not TopOwl), TopOwl or TopSight were tested on previous Rafale’s, same case with M2K-5F iirc.

We always talk about the demonstrators. But how different are they from production aircrafts ?

The C101 testbed (previously known as C01, which to my knowledge also lacks a significant amount of avionics, which can also be clearly seen on the pictures) doesn’t have a lot in common with production ones.

Does the map marking system let you salvo AASM from >30km away? Currently can’t get >20km with target designation from targeting pod. Trying to work out if the range is actually usable.

Has anyone noticed that Rafale doesnt produce any engine sound? After the small uptade i cant hear my Rafale’s engines while my other planes works completely fine.

It’s a possibility but will mean your AASMs will be GPS guiding as LOAL doesn’t exist in game currently. So pray your targets don’t move lul.

No, I tried yesterday with the GBU IV, 39, 48, 49 and 90 and all of them fall after 20km. It seems that there are the same limitations as for the designation pod.

Can the Mk 84 be fitted where the AASM 1000 would go on Rafale F4 or F3R just doesn’t have Mk 84?

The Rafale has better supersonic maneuverability and post-stall maneuverability. In terms of the Angle of Attack (AoA), Rafale can achieve a 100 to 110 degrees AoA angle of attack, while the Typhoon is limited to 70 degrees.

But the Typhoon’s Leading Edge Root Extensions (LERX) and ridges along the fuselage give it a 100-degree AoA angle of attack.n LERX, the roots of the delta wings meet the main body of the aircraft, right above its chin intake. The LERX was introduced in the Typhoon as a part of the Aerodynamic Modification Kit (KIT).) So do you think we are equivalent in the game ?

They really need to unfuck the bugger all range on targeting when they’re giving us kit that can hit targets at 3 times the distance we can target.

I guess they keep this limitation to prevent planes from totally dominating tank battles, however with the announcement of more modern anti-aircraft systems next year I hope this limit will be lifted.
