Re-read as i added detail and instead of me proving reality to you i would like you to show me the sources that allow you to make your claims that totally differ from what is said in the first page of this thread that is a carefully made presentation of the plane throughout time that has been made by someone that spent years on accumulating knowledge about Rafale.
I literally agreed that the Rafale is underperforming, but you guys are acting like its basicly the worst thing ever atm and that once they “fix” it its going to be some kind of air to air god, unmatched by any existence in this universe. The fact its keeping up with what is the “best” airframe currently in-game points to the fact its nowhere near as “bad” as you guys pretend it is, and you should probably temper your expectations of it.
Im not trying to pass him off as authoritative on the subject, im saying look at the performance and realize its really not that bad (absolute performance-wise, it is inaccurate regardless, as is the EFT, and both will be fixed)
For the real reality of our world i SERIOUSLY advise people that are new or very rarely interacted with this thread to go READ THE FIRST PAGE ABSOLUTELY. It’ll give every necessary informations for people to not make wikipedia(aka fake) claims about Rafale loadouts capabilities.

I just don’t agree with the video.
I haven’t said anything else regarding the performance of both the Eurofighter and the Typhoon.
The issue is not so much the platform but the host of issues with the platform and complete disregard for it and the weapons it carries. Shows fuck all research and/or care for French kit. And I would wager a lot of folk are bitter from this standpoint.
I mean, I’m bitter because it and gripen are favourite. And I don’t want it shafted like Gripen was 😿

I dont trust much of anything most of the youtuber in the WT community say, most have dodgy takes. Tim is pretty good for informative stuff, as is Jaek. My point wasnt Aeroturtles take, my point was the comparison of the rafales FM in the footage vs the other “top” dogfighters in-game.

Its not the only thing thats in a rough state atm, the EFT has a massive amount of bug reports, as does the PzH2000, etc… Its the last dev server of the year and theyve said over and over that many of these things are just placeholder atm and they know its wrong. They likely needed to rush on some of these to get the teaser and dev server out, and the last major update ran late, which cut into this ones time.
Its not like its some anti-french bias, the Rafale is easily looking to be one of the best jets in-game once added. Everyone pretending otherwise are just lying to themselves. Its just a bunch of placeholder stuff to tide us over.

It’s not supposed to be an “air to air god” but it is supposed to perform better in ITR and maybe even STR compared to the EuFi at the speeds a dogfight will usually take place. And without much public info, I’d assume the AMK kit was made for the EuFi because of that reason. Could always be wrong though, I don’t have any sekrit documents like some people most likely do.

There’s always a massive influx of bug reports. But if we don’t make a big enough fuss, they don’t listen. Just an unfortunate outcome of how they seem to assign dev time priorities.

Its not beating the EFT in STR lmao, get that idea out of your head. ITR? Yes, the close coupled canards give it better AOA/Nose pointing ability through the formation of vortices that enhance the wing vortices during high AOA maneuvers, but its TWR and aerodynamics are inferior to the EFT for speed and energy management.

The close couple canards also give it better energy retention at low speeds which would likely mean it has close if not better STR at low speeds, the EuFi is built as a high altitude, high speed aircraft and is better configured for those speeds.

Theres a difference between making a fuss and pretending this jet has the single worst performance ever and that its the end of the world and renders france basicly uncompetitive.
France has long been strong at top tier air and the Rafale isnt changing that. Spreading lies and the likes doesnt help your case, and will only make ppl angry when it comes to live and the changes to its FM are significantly more mild than ppl here are pretending they ought to be.
The EFT excels at high alt high speed, but it is not solely built for that, and I have seen the actual performance numbers of the EFT at many speed regimes and altitudes and they are genuinely disgusting. The close coupled canards are not “better at low speeds” either btw, they are better at high AOA’s, which is incidentally at low speeds due to the stresses placed on the aircraft/pilot. Also, STR is typically not done at very low speeds, nor is it done at very high AOA.
