It’s 600-500kg according to the developer response to the report, so unless someone has a godsend report regarding it’s performance, it’s not likely to perform well in the one thing it supposedly does better than the EF in A2A. But I suppose Zayf is right.
Source 7 says that the F3 added additional capacity for weapons at the stage of F3.3

500-600 still would change the characteristics by a decent amount, especially as the Rafale isn’t that heavy to begin with.
But yes, this is only the first dev with no update.
I expect more changes soon.

No we don’t because getting more MICA will just give reason for devs to not buff them to their real performances which is completely a dumb move to make. It’s better to focus on getting MICA to more realistic levels of performance than bringing more in battle. Moreover this mockup has not even been offiocially approved by either Dassault or the DGA and conccerns the Rafale F5 afaik.

In-game its 10300Kg, devs stated it should be more along 9700-9800kg. Thats at best a 600Kg reduction in weight, which is 5.8% reduction in weight, 4.9% if they go with 9800Kg. Its unlikely to make any significant difference. The FM changes they’re going to make are going to have a more substantial impact than the reduction in weight. It’ll accelerate a tiny bit faster, retain speed a tiny bit better, and pull a tiny bit harder if all they changed was the weight.
I want them to rework Denmark for top tier sim, then add AShM’s to deal with the new targets.

You’ll see the same issue with r77. Flankers have a lot of them. So they’re not fixed. According to Gaijin, quantity has a quality all of its own.
That is before we note that armament is to my knowledge mostly incompatible with what we got.

UH maybe because a 10 missiles MICA has never been approved as an official layout for Rafale and atm it’s not even theorically possible as fuel tanks pylons seem to have not wiring ccapability, so to say, only fuel tanks can go there except for the centerline pylon that is open for ASMP-A, GBU24, RECO-NG pod, EXOCET and that’s it. Nothing else.

Rafale doesnt seem as doom and gloom kind of awful like y’all have been pretending it is. Seems to beat the EFT in the 1c and lose in the 2c as expected, granted this is with both aircrafts with some obvious bugs and performance issues atm.

Legit French pilots at airshows LMAO or from any official organism interview where they are willing to tell aa few things. Also the fact there is absolutely no picture of the Rafale equiping anything else than fuel tanks on the said fuel tank pylon. And if you have no IRL picture (And not a 3D render) that proves other things can be installed there(Also airshows mockups don’t count as they are proposed by industrials like MBDA not the actual army or Dassault) then there is no proof at all that anything else can be installed there.
