Actually, it is to b e expected it ends up at 17. Gripen IRL could achieve 12, in game it can achieve 14 (or more, if you want to throw it around way too much), and rafale should be able to achieve more than it from a structural and design standpoint (don’t know if it is limited/rated lower). Given the game makes these limits a bit arbitrary, 17 is relatively easy to expect, with the +/- 1.5x. Gripen is also kind of an outlier in how low it is compared to where it ought to be.
To be entirely fair, Rafale’s airframe can sustain up to 11G irl.
And in War Thunder planes usually have up to 1.5 times the G tolerance, you get 16.5G which is close to what Rafale is pulling right now.
Maybe it is “close enough” to WT standards but I don’t expect it to come to live like this, likely nerfed like the Gripen was for G pull
17Gs may be “correct” according to WT standards but given how the Gripen was smacked when people saw things like this happening on dev I expect it will end up in a similar situation.
I would gladly trade off the 17Gs for like 15Gs if it means the Rafale doesn’t get nuked by an M2K
I found something.

Apparently Rafale C right now has the weight of Rafale M.
If this is changed it might help the Rafale a lot.
isn’t the 30mm 791 spoused to improve on the old 30mm 781 by not only the fire rate but muzzle velocity
791 1025m/s vs 781 810 to 820m/s ?
fire rate 791 up to 2500rpm vs 781 only 750rpm
can some one report that
it has been reported already
okay thx u
it got accepted
Yeah gaijin dropped the ball hard on that, 900kg less is gonna feel good though.
Really shows how much “research” they put in
I don’t mind too much when it is only the first dev with no update.
What I do mind is stuff like this making it to the live server unfinished.
Do you know how the data about the combat radius of 1852KM when Rafale carries 8 AAMs and four auxiliary fuel tanks for interception missions came about? I have found many places that claim it this way. If this is true, I think we can start from here. The Rafale fighter only has 5 auxiliary fuel tank attachment points. If we want to achieve the condition of 8 AAMs and 4 auxiliary fuel tanks, then the belly and outer wings must have attachment points for air-to-air missiles.

I gathered every image I could see and every source I could find advertising an open pylon before the F4 was even conceived; Any possible pre-2021 image, as that’s when Rafale F4 began, entering service in 2023
do we think its radar is gonna stay the RBE2 or change to the -AA?
They say it will switch to AESA radar, that’s as far as I know.
yippieeee!!! all we need its 8 Michel then the Ralph will be perfect in sim
This looks better, though I might be blind but I couldn’t find the 8 missiles being mentionned in source 7? Since you have enough sources anyway, it might be best to not use the ones that don’t directly show 8 missiles.
Also the 2013 Dassault tweet should be brought up in the first 3 sources I think, especially if the aircraft’s visual model is Indeed an F3 (looking at the FSO for instance, I’m no specialist).
Marcel Dassault must be turning in his grave rn with how bad this dev Raf is.
Sustained turn I assumed would be a coin flip even though it’s supposed to be close to the EF at lower speeds and it’s gaijin, but even instantaneous is awful.
Devs already stated FM isn’t final. Wait and see.
