Besides that it would be wrong either way as its not called F.3R in-game and Mike most likely being confused; AESA on Rafale and nothing else makes no sense.

Some people are saying that the reason they havent shown any ir missiles is because they are considering mica ir, I agree.

MICA IR is too strong. Introducing it would be the height of stupidity. It would kill the game, straight up.

So far the errors seen during server dev
. Aircraft name → F3R or F3-4
. Radar → Version?
. Air-to-Air Missile → missing Magic 2?
. Bomb → missing GBU-22, mk 81 and 83
. AASM 250 (SBU-64) → missing GPS guidance (from what I’ve seen)

Well all fox 3s are ingame in a gimped fashion so I dont see what will stop them from adding advanced ir missiles in a similar way.
They still making every Gatewidth IRCCM share the same FOV though. My guess there’s a big chance they would release MICA IR with the same performance as MICA EM, but with shitty R-73 Gatewidth IRCCM.

Not really, they can just put placeholder irccm and since its MICA it will be highly limited in terms of range, basically it will be R27ET with TVC and datalink.

I don’t think they would add Datalink to it, best guess is well just MICA EM slapped with R-73 IRCCM is pretty enough to be still competitive in game.
AFAIK, you can’t shoot MICA IR in a very close range due to proxy fuse not warmed up and the missile is too fast. So it’s basically R-73 on steroid if we got the gimped MICA IR.

More than 100 degree search angle is impressive, this would really ramp up the potential of MICA EM off-bore attack. The only problem is, MICA EM still have its wobbling performance that kills its long range performance.
in the end I just checked the GBU-22s are on the plane, it is the GBU49s that are missing

somebody probably gave both streams the wrong notes. I’d trust whats clearly added without placeholder string on dev
