read the post again, i know you can do it
Is there actually anything to confirm that 80 km is the distance MICA flies rather than the maximum range it can be fired at?
You keep saying that as the AIM-120 is advertised as 80 km (not that I’ve ever personally seen that) and can fly 80 km in game that proves Gaijin model missiles to fly the distance they are advertised as online. But the problem is that the AIM-120 is not modelled based off the advertised range, it’s modelled based off a whole bunch of declassified British AMRAAM documents (including firing envelopes provided by the manufacturer and the results of >100 simulated firings).
so it at best should self destruct at 60km because that is the highest number MBDA states
they can not thats why they are still arguing
that would be peak 10km buff, rafailure saved!
especially since BVR is the absolute meta right now
A lot of text, but no 120s are hilariously easy to avoid at all ranges, notch slightly or multipath the same cannot be said with the MICA EM. I would swap 20km of “stat card” range for the MICAS seeker head and in game performance.
I just don’t buy this obsession with 120s range when in game it makes no difference. If you are in a Rafale and dying to a 50km 120 shot you have likely alt tabbed.
can you tell me the meaning of “>” please ?
That’s the whole issue isn’t it, we will have it less and less going forward. I’m already surprised you managed to get it for the AMRAAM A tbh
I do think both missiles have similar ranges when ground launched though ? Could be wrong
so we are supposed to guess a proper number?
60km is the highest primary source number you can give to me
gotta love the british community digging through their national archives for a video game. although, i dont think france has something similar to the national archives
No indeed
That’s the kind of thing you like to keep secret usually
And MICA is abnormally difficult to find any info on. Even unknown stuff nobody cares about like Mistral or Asters are better documented

where is this advertisement for amraam range. where is this brochure or whatever ur getting this range from
a certain someone got a report through to nerf the IRIS-T SLS with a document that said esentially >50Gs of pull
and the IRIS-T SLS was nerfed to exactly 50Gs
so you want gaijin to treat french stuff different than others?
whenever someone read a text, he forgot the “Low % to hit”
In case you still haven’t understood that, the missile in your video travelled 50 km and not 80. If the “travel distance” doesn’t represent the distance traveled then I swear I’ll give up on English
you forgot that MBDA is selling 2 product in one website page,…
the MICA-IR and the MICA-EM, and we know for sure that there is a 20km differences between those 2.
and you guys are claiming it should be able to do 80km
the best thing i saw suggested 60km
because of seeker performance and not kinematics
through secondaries, we showed you 70-80km.
