Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

Aside from the fact that, yanno, the Rafale is beyond busted and is the one others are trying to be balanced against.

Doesnt seem to be considering the reactions seen anytime something might actually give the Rafale a challenge for once…

SaS mode is used for Sim, it allows to change the way FBW works. By default, you’ll have to trim yourself. There’s a Damping mode that keeps you going where you go, and an automatic levelling which, as the name implies, levels you off automatically.
To bind it, you need to switch control to full real controls and the key bind will appear. after that, you can switch back to mouse aim and it will remain bonded. It will only work when in simulator controls (so in sim, or when you are playing using sim controls in other game modes)

Ah I understand now thank you, at first I actually thought it was correlated to fuel dumping (since that was added to keybinds too)

Mirage 2000 truly is a plane that hangs on for dear life to remain competitive. From when the first f14 was introduced to now, it’s actually quite impressive how many buffs it received

mirage 2k5f was added long after f-14a and f-16/mig29

They butchered it’s fm it could barely pull any AOA or turn. But I quite liked the event one.

When it was initially introduced, it was just a C-S5 with a better radar. It quickly received the extra magic 2s when live hit, and then the rest is history. I’m also generally speaking of the entire Mirage family

Eh, it does compress more at high speed. Definitely not as easy to play - the J10C actually handles like the pre FM change M2K - but it’s not bad per se now. I had quite the learning curve to go through but I’d say it actually made it better against things like f16s when you know what you are doing. Definitely not securing a win, but with good energy management it’s very potent

Just learned today that Rafale carries fewer Meteors than Typhoon…

Finally we could take the power back…Gaijin add Meteor now

oh is the rafale more limited in the number of meteors? i expected any mica slot could take them as well

Apparently so 4 Meteors to Typhoons 6 they still have MICA IR and the new MICA

well that would use the wing pylons as well.
Personaly at that point i would take 4 more asraam or iris-t over 2 meteors at that point

Typhoon would probable take 4 ASRAAM and 4 Meteors over 6 Meteors and 2 ASRAAM

And it should still get a bunch of them, I have at least 5 or 6 bug reports to improve the interfaces and the HUD

They already made massive improvements to the HMD for the Rafale, M2K RMV and Tiger.
Now if they could actually model the HMS of the tiger it’d be great.
