Incorrect, 120C will now have similar seeker width as the MICA EM that had it reduced. It is an improvement in seeker over the AIM-120A even if the seeker range is the same.

Gaijin haven’t said if that’s the case yet, we need data mine to confirm seeker parameters.

I confirmed it from datamine long ago. AIM-120A and most other fox 3s are 15 degrees. MICA EM is 7 degrees, AIM-120C-5 is 7.5 degrees.
So now the US mains with their F-15E spaceship will now have the longest ranged missile in the game alongside with a harder to chaff/notch missile to boot on par with MICA EM’s seeker. You could have argued that AIM-120A wasn’t that useful at longer ranges but now the AIM-120C-5 has the seeker to make longer range BVR useful.

Guy cope too much, like if other aircraft don’t get similiar treatment, then it’s Gaijin fault, not French Main’s fault, people need to know France aren’t really actually eating if we exclude Rafale and Mirage 2000 improvement.
No strike eagle is getting it as well

Yes, that is the same capability when you went into the gimbal limits to the point that the radar resorted to TRK MEM, and still you were able to fire.

Yes. The thing is, the radar is in MEM (memory) so it does not give an accurate location. Furthermore, the r77 takes longer to align on target so by the time its seeker is ready to look at the target, it’s already far gone. The MICA has this ïssue"to a certain extent, but far less pronounced

By the way, should the AIM120C has the same nimble bypass as the MICA and R771 ? If so, might be worth reporting, you know, for when the EFT gets them

Honestly I don’t know enough about them, and Typhoon wont get them anytime soon.
This is a buff to make F-15 meta again giving Typhoon the same missile and fixing the radar would undo that.
Typhoon not receiving buffs is very much becoming a meme
Oh nice they finally fixed something huge for me:
First, they added back the TGP/GPS marker on the HMD, and second, now markers are actually fixed to where they should go instead of ever so slightly drifting (for example when looking being you to the right, the circle of friendly plane was slightly in from of the actual plane)

Aside from the fact that, yanno, the Rafale is beyond busted and is the one others are trying to be balanced against.
Doesnt seem to be considering the reactions seen anytime something might actually give the Rafale a challenge for once…
