Does anyone know the NCTR of Rafale
NCTR characteristics are some of the most highly classified parts of any modern aircraft now, it’ll be decades before anyone even learns how the oldest aircraft with NCTR actually works.
I mean, we have some decent understanding of some major mechanics, such as turbine blade radar returns and SAR identification
From pilot reports at least for the typhoon it was said it worked well just 30% of the time and that’s with a mechanical scan radar.
AESA should be better, but still from what i saw rafale pilots still prefer to use the TV for target ID.
We could see some future increase in RWR range in the future since the SPECTRA RWR is supposed to pick up signals from 250km away, but that report will require more time and calculation from me.

Indian rafale should get indigenous weapons and missiles integrated + more sells of rafale for India.

Most likely the others versions of their astra missiles, i don’t see why it would be asraam.
With how much Gaijin are intent to bury the Typhoon we might need it!

ASRAAM is Indians chosen IIR missile it will be equiped to Su-30MKI, Rafale, Tejas and whatever 5th gen they select.
ASRAAM will be worse than Mica IRs. So this Indian version would be a downgrade to be honest.
Well even if they do that, a missile does not make an aircraft go to one tree or another, event jaguar use magic 2 for example, there is a mirage (not in game) that use russian missiles and it would not lead it to go to russia, and anyway mica ir will always be superior to asraam, i have no clue if it’s even cheaper while not having datalink (and no purple flames too !).
We dont know the upgrades for the Block 3 ASRAAM.
If they give it DL like the CAMM then the performance will be similar.
Unless it’s a premium why would it go to France what would it add over the F.4 which would already be in the tech tree?
So until anyone knows, it won’t be modelled. Therefore, Mica IR will be the better missile.
There’s also insufficient info for Mica IR NG, but it is again most certainly the superior missile.
