Where 360 degrees SPECTRA AESA Jamming?
Considering France’s glass ceiling is the USA in War Thunder, I imagine we will have to wait for Growler to be implemented for the Devs to even consider giving that feature to the Rafale …
where is the REAL AESA scan rate also , i mean even the SU 30 have a way faster scanning rate for some reason
well of course, electronic warfare mechanics will most probably come in a ew themed update that will have the growler and prowler as main vehicles… Though considering the very low teamwork consciousness of players they’ll probably prefer the more selfish electronic warfare of the Rafale and Flankers over the Growler, which can protect its teammates but can’t do anything other than sead.
I just wanted to thank Gigachad… I mean @DirectSupport for his reports, as well as everyone that helped him make them.
In today’s news, these bug reports are getting implemented for next major update :
- Max speed VNE from M1.9 to M2.0 : Community Bug Reporting System
- AOA deactivation (cobra button) : Community Bug Reporting System
You can already try them for yourself in the dev server
That means it will also have higher top speed on sea level.
Based on my calculations it will reach 1482km on deck.
Adding five percent bonus will allow to reach 1500+ on deck.
[DEV] Rafale wrong rollrate
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/ybjeGteZnWHf
No it did have same rip speed on the deck, it can reach higher speed in hotter maps which is already same in live server
Bug report indicates Maximum speed should be 800knots.
Current Live server top speed is 750 knot which is 1389km, increased rip speed gives us current structure limit aka 1458km.
With 5 percent speed bonus it will be able to reach 1556 km on deck.
So yes when changes happens Rafale will become faster on deck.
Where to see these?
soooo, how much of a difference does this make ?
Because I did some testing but couldn’t find much difference
thanks
Reports since I last posted, although one got fixed today.
Magic 2 missing on the weapons display for Rafale // Gaijin.net // Issues

Rafale should have the option to disable angle-of-attack limits // Gaijin.net // Issues
Rafale incorrect SHOOT cue modeling // Gaijin.net // Issues

Rafale’s Radar and IRST should compensate field of regard // Gaijin.net // Issues
@WreckingAres283 brought it to my attention today, targeting pods now have a laser range of 30km. Just tested it and it’s true.
Good news for the Rafale especially so that when they eventually implement the ability to fire MICA EM/IR through the TV sensor, you can do it at 30km as opposed to 20km.
you can now see your targets on the IRST alot easier
Unfortunately the structural limit still the same at deck
If they dont change it before the patch drops it should be reported again.
