that is the best counter to the Rudolf lol
now i havent played in about a week, but i think its still probably the same. the main disadvantage is probably just the MICA’s range, being almost locked to 20km and lower. if i had to take a guess the best way to fight it is try your best to stay a decent ways away and just sling RAAMAM’s at it, since the MICA might aswell be a knife.
Okay, so that’s practically impossible because the Eurofighter radar is actual trash because, I dont know marketing lies or something?
TWS literally doesnt work so I have no standoff capabilites. Those fancy Peugeot Rizzlers you all fly can very easily sneak through.
Okay so till they fix the CAPDUR-L I’ll just try to keep running from Rafales for now.
Thanks m8

AMRAAMS love terrain more than they love hitting Rafales. Top down shots on a Ravioli in the multipath zone will never hit. But thats better than getting 8 MICA’s shot my way so I’ll try that.
“Eurofighter, you get to choose to try to contest F15E’s in BVR with a radar that doesnt work, or you get to try to live in a knifefight with Rifles that have 8 MICAS” Well atleast its possible to defend in BVR
Thanks for the suggestion

yeah, the dev server should’ve been extended imo

its the only real way i could think of countering Rapping paper. since it really only excell’s at those close knife fights.
Yeah, I apreciate it man, dont get me wrong!
It’s just that its very very difficult because of the aforementioned radar issues on the EF2000.
But as I said, its still better than getting 8 MICA deathsticks shot my way

yeah rofl, praying the CAPTOR gets completely fixed and RBE2 gets a proper AESA scan mode so we can all be happy

Yeah the RBE2 also needs to ACTUALLy be an AESA radar. It’s fine for it to have crazy AESA space magic too since its MICA’s cant truely benefit from such capabilities in BVR anyway.
Once they fix these two radars we could finally have the F2 for Japan

last time i check too is that its name is RBE2 AESA in game and not the proper RBE2-AA, so they went out of their way to incorrectly name it but still call it an AESA and then not make it an AESA :sob:. i will say it again, and probably a few more times, dev server should’ve been extended to everything could be properly implemented.

Agreed. Dev server should have been longer IMO.
Personally I’d have been fine with December update being skipped entirely if it meant we’d gotten functionally complete jets in, say, January.

It’s also the experience I truly have 99 out of 100 times. I think I’ve notched successfully defeated 2 of the countless MICA’s shot my way

You are doing something wrong if you have a 100% kill zone from the most wretched top tier missile for launches at 10+ km

I know. That is why I am here in this very thread.
MICA’s are a death sentence for me. I just cannot defeat them. Notch, crank, terrain, multipath or whatever, they just do not care it seems. They will always find me, and they always kill me

Micheal always knows where you are… i honestly would love to give more tips but i can only name a few times ive dodged a MICA in something like my Baz Meshupar. i think the best way to defeat it is literally just dont let it get launched at you in the first place.

if you fly at 2+ mach at high altitude, then of course you will be easily shot down. But if you fly at standard speed and you really are shot down by ARL missiles every time, then learn to go into notch

As I said. I have tried notching, cranking, terrain and multipath.
If I do not physically move behind cover such as a mountain, the MICA does not care.
I can reliably defeat PL12, R77 and AMRAAM. The only one I cannot do this to is MICA.
